Millionaire Genie was one of Section 8 Studio’s first video slots to feature a progressive jackpot – and the legacy the slot has left behind is apparent.

As you can probably guess from the name, Millionaire Genie is an Arabian-themed video slot featuring all around a Genie.

You’ll see this fella appear on the left-hand side of the reels, floating above a treasure chest, which displays the current progressive jackpot amount on top.

Symbols on the reels include low and high-value symbols, and the lower-paying ones are represented by playing card values, including 10, jack, queen, king, and ace.

The higher paying symbols include a Book, a Scroll, a Key, and a Magic Carpet – and there’s also a Genie scatter symbol, which is the key to triggering the free spins bonus round, which we’ll cover below.

Game Features

As mentioned below, the free spins round is triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view, and once you’ve managed to land them in view, you’ll be awarded a random number of spins by the Genie.

(It makes no difference how many scatter symbols you land on the reels – it’s completely random, and you can be awarded anywhere from 5 to 50 spins.)

Once the free spins have begun, each spin can see the genie adding wilds to the reels – and if he does so, the wilds will then stick in place and remain there for the bonus.
