Rise of the Pharaohs is the subject of today’s review, and this video slot from Section 8 Studios takes place deep within the Egyptian desert – as you could probably tell from the slot’s name.

Built using a 5 reel, 15 pay-line format, Rise of the Pharaohs may not look too special (it’s a bit of a letdown in terms of graphics), but it’s worth noting that the game developer behind the slot has made sure that the gameplay is excellent.

The first bonus is the free spins round, and this is triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view. Once you land the required scatter symbols, you’ll receive a random number of free spins – it appears that the range you can win is between 8 and 24.
