Pop Zen Slot Base Game

Pop Zen has a large 7×7 grid with refilling reels. The grid is larger than the standard 5×3 layout and features a cluster pays mechanic instead of fixed lines. Pop 5 or more symbols for a win or the maximum of 15+ to hit the largest wins. Symbols include colorful pops, of which the star pays the most.

Each spin in the game brings about exciting surprises and even the base game has numerous features. These include wilds, respins, big symbols, and more. As in other slots, wilds can substitute any other symbol and help you form winning combinations.

There’s a progress bar above the reels which fills with winning symbols. Each one adds a single point. You need 25 to activate new features which include clones that copy other symbols in new clusters, wild blast which turns up to 4 symbols wild, smashes which destroy low-paying symbols, and X-lines that work similar to mystery symbols.

You also have big symbols which occur when 4 symbols land in the form of a square. At this point, they turn into a 2×2 big symbol that can create enticing winning combinations.

Pop Zen Bonus features

As we already mentioned, there are several randomly activated modifiers that can be triggered via the progress bar. These include Wild Blast, Smash, X-Line and Clone and all have different features.

• Wild Blast – This feature can turn 3-6 symbols into wilds and each wild will destroy the first four symbols around it. It’s fun to watch and speeds up the game but doesn’t award any winnings or multipliers on its own.
• Smash – If you get the Smash feature all the lower paying symbols will get eliminated and hopefully, you’ll get higher paying ones in their place.
• X-Lines – This feature puts a wild symbol in the middle of the grid and all the symbols across the diagonal from the Wild turn into random identical symbols.
• Clone – When this feature is randomly activated it turns a randomly chosen symbol and all the other identical on the grid into another symbol.
