Nitropolis 4 is the latest addition to ELK Studios’ long-running franchise set in a futuristic, dystopian version of Earth, where DOGS and other animals run the show.

In this new sequel, players will have a chance to head out to open sea and drill for oil. In a world run by animals, you’ll have to join the pack and hope they’ll take you in as their own. Lots of perils and adventure await on this oil rig, and some rewarding prizes as well.

The graphics and visuals are stunning and the soundtrack perfectly complements the futuristic feel of the slot.

The reels are placed on a large metallic oil rig and you can see the dystopian sky in the background. If you’ve played any of the previous Nitropolis slots, you know what to expect.

The symbols include brightly colored letters and some canine characters as the higher paying ones.

Game Features

Feature-wise, Nitropolis 4 has a lot to offer. You’ve got wilds, which can substitute any symbol to form a winning combination, except for the bonus and super bonus symbol.

The avalanche feature is activated on each win – winning symbols disappear and new ones fall into their place. Moreover, an extra row is added to the reels with every win, growing up to 8 rows, which is a staple of the Nitropolis series.

One of the coolest features in Nitropolis are the Nitro Features. Here are some of the basics you need to know:

• Nitro reels can spread across 2 or 6 spaces on the reels and are loaded with symbols.
• Nitro multipliers go as high as x12 and if you’re lucky enough to win more than one, their values are added together.
• Keep an eye on the two screens over the reels – this is where you’ll spot any of the 8 nitro boosters. These can modify the game in exciting ways, and range from turning whole reels into wilds to locking high paying symbols into place.

The slot also has a free spins and a super bonus round. Free spins are awarded when you land 3 or more scatters. You can get a minimum of 8 free spins and a maximum of 20, and in this round the nitro reels become sticky to increase your potential for bigger rewards.

The Super Bonus round triggers if you manage to land a super scatter in the free spins round. The difference between the regular and super bonus rounds is that the super version comes with a fully expanded grid and win both ways for the duration of the feature.
