Gates of Inter Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Gates of Inter is a Pragmatic Play slot that combines the grandeur of Greek mythology with the atmosphere of Italian football, putting Zeus in Inter Milan’s famous blue-and-black colours inside a floodlit stadium.

Instead of treating this game as a simple reskin, the game mixes club imagery, trophies and the Biscione serpent with the familiar god-powered spectacle associated with Pragmatic Play’s mythology slots.

The action takes place on a 6×5 grid using Scatter Pays, where wins require at least eight matching symbols anywhere on the reels. Gates of Inter has high volatility, a standard 94.52% RTP, bets starting at 0.20, and an unusually large 50,000x maximum win.

Mechanically, anyone familiar with Pragmatic Play’s tumble slots will recognise the foundations. Winning symbols disappear, replacements fall into their positions and the process can continue through several consecutive wins.

What changes the character of the game are winged multiplier orbs reaching 500x, Super Scatters capable of awarding enormous instant prizes, and Free Spins where collected multipliers build a persistent multiplier pool.

The result is an aggressive version of Pragmatic Play’s established formula. Gates of Inter offers far greater maximum potential than many similar releases, but the trade-off is important: that 94.52% RTP is noticeably lower than the 96%+ configurations commonly preferred by players.

Game Features

Gates of Inter doesn’t use traditional paylines. Instead, 8 or more matching symbols landing anywhere on the 6×5 grid produce a winning combination.

Every winning symbol is then removed through the Tumble mechanic, allowing the remaining symbols to fall into the empty positions while new symbols enter from above.

If another Scatter Pays combination forms, it pays and another tumble occurs. This process continues until a new winning combination can no longer be created. It’s a familiar Pragmatic Play system, but it becomes considerably more important once multiplier symbols begin appearing during a sequence.

Winged Multiplier Orbs

Golden winged multiplier symbols can appear during regular spins and subsequent tumbles.

Their values range from 2x to 500x. When the tumble sequence finishes, all multiplier values present are added together, and the resulting multiplier is applied to the accumulated win from that sequence. For example, landing 25x and 50x multiplier orbs during the same sequence produces a combined 75x multiplier.

With individual orbs reaching 500x, a successful chain of tumbles accompanied by several multipliers can dramatically change an otherwise modest payout.

Super Scatters

The Super Scatter is one of Gates of Inter’s defining features and provides a direct route to some of its largest prizes. Landing at least four Scatters, with one or more being Super Scatters, triggers 15 Free Spins and also awards an immediate payout based on the number of Super Scatters:

Four Super Scatters therefore award the game’s entire 50,000x maximum win immediately. This gives Gates of Inter an unusual second route to its top prize rather than making the maximum entirely dependent on building an enormous Free Spins multiplier.

Free Spins

Landing 4 or more regular Scatter symbols awards 15 Free Spins. The regular multiplier mechanic receives an important upgrade during the bonus.

Whenever a winged multiplier lands on a winning spin, its value is added to a persistent global multiplier meter. Rather than disappearing after that tumble sequence, the accumulated multiplier remains available for subsequent qualifying wins. This allows the multiplier to become progressively larger as the bonus continues.

Landing another 3 or more Scatters during Free Spins awards 5 additional spins, giving the player more opportunities to increase the multiplier pool. Super Scatters do not appear during Free Spins.

This persistent progression is where Gates of Inter becomes substantially more interesting than the base game. A bonus that starts relatively quietly can become considerably more valuable if enough multiplier orbs accumulate before the remaining spins run out.

Ante Bet

The Ante Bet increases the wager by 50%, effectively changing the bet multiplier from 20x to 30x. In return, additional Scatter symbols are placed on the reels, increasing the probability of triggering the bonus.

The maximum stake can consequently increase from 240 to 360 when Ante Bet is active. There is also a small mathematical trade-off: the standard game operates at 94.52% RTP, while Ante Bet lowers this slightly to 94.47%.

Bonus Buy

Where feature purchases are permitted, there are two direct routes into Free Spins.

Regular Free Spins – 100x the bet

This immediately triggers the standard Free Spins feature.

Super Free Spins – 500x the bet

The more expensive option guarantees that every multiplier symbol appearing during the bonus has a value of at least 10x.

The Bonus Buy configuration operates at approximately 94.49% RTP. Ante Bet and Bonus Buy cannot be used simultaneously. At 500x the stake, Super Free Spins are extremely expensive compared with conventional bonus purchases, but the removal of the smallest multiplier values gives the persistent multiplier mechanic considerably more room to grow.
