Diamond Strike Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Fruit-themed slots are always a hit among online slot players, and Diamond Strike by Pragmatic Play shows us just why that is. Set against a dark blue background, the brightly coloured fruit symbol pop and appears almost 3D. The gameplay may be simple, but it is lively, especially with the exciting soundtrack that plays during the gaming session.

Diamond Strike has old-school charm, a touch of nostalgia, and a hit of vegas-style casino atmosphere all rolled into one slot. The game is played on a 5-reel, 3-row grid with 15 fixed pay-lines.

Players will be thrilled to discover that not only are there 4 fixed jackpots up for grabs but also that betting starts from 0.15c and reaches €75.00.

Besides the 4 jackpots mentioned above, there are free spins that can be re-triggered with no limit. The free spins round holds another feature, and we will discuss this later on, but first, let’s take a look at the game’s stats. Diamond Strike has an RTP of 96.48%, which is above the industry average. It’s also coupled with a medium variance.

Fruit-themed slots, like Diamond Strike, tend to focus on the graphics to draw players into the nostalgia of old-school pokies. The gaming session is effortless and uncomplicated, but it still manages to be fast-paced with a decent number of bonus features. And while the betting range is affordable to most, it might not be high enough for high rollers. That said, however, the maximum win amount is 1,000x the bet, and that’s not bad.

Game Features

The symbols for this slot game are represented by the fruit icons that you would have found in the classic Vegas fruit machines of times past.

The symbols differ in payout from as little as 0.05 at the minimum bet if you land three lemons on a pay-line to €1,000 for getting 5x of the 7s on a pay-line at the maximum bet amount or  €1,500 if you get 5x diamonds.

The diamond symbol is also the wild and will substitute for any other symbol except for the Free Spins and Golden 7 symbols.

Hit 3 of the Golden 7s anywhere on the reels and trigger the Jackpot game. During this game, every position on the grid is filled with diamonds that can be turned over to reveal one of the four available jackpots. Collect three of the same jackpot symbols and be rewarded with the corresponding jackpot. The value of the jackpots are:

• Mega – 1,000x
• Major – 100x
• Minor – 30x
• Mini – 10x

The free spins game is initiated when 3 scatter symbols land on reels 1, 3, and 5, awarding 8 free spins, which can be retriggered by landing more scatter symbols. At the start of the free spins, extra diamonds are added to the reels. Additionally, the jackpot game can be triggered from the free spins bonus game.
