Asgardian Stones Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Asgardian Stones is a new video slot from Netent. The game uses a strange rune-like look, feel, and design to it, encompassing players from the moment they begin playing.

As you can probably imagine, it’s based on the Nordic god Odin and his place of permanent residence called Asgard.

Asgardian Stones can be played from as little as 10c per spin, with the maximum spin capped at €200, and as you’ll see in this post, the game uses Netent’s patented Avalanche block feature to ensure continual wins can be made at all times.

The lower-paying symbols are represented by traditional playing card symbols, including Ten, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace, and these appear as giant 2X2 or 3X3 symbols on the reels.

The higher paying symbols depict various gods, and of course, Asgard himself is the highest paying symbol, appearing alongside the other gods. Of course, there’s a wild symbol in the game, which takes the form of a giant “W”.

There are no scatter symbols to be found in the game, and while this may sound a little strange at first, you’ll see why exactly within the following bonuses section.

Game Features

There are a couple of things going on inside the Asgardian Stones online slot, the first of which is the Avalanche Feature – something you may know from Netent’s other popular slots, like Gonzo’s Quest.

This means that any time you land a win, the symbols that contribute towards that win will disappear and have new symbols drop down, to take their place – hence the name “avalanche”.

There’s another feature called the “Colossal Crush” bonus, which occurs if and when a 2X2 or 3X3 symbol appears at the top of the reels.

It can (but doesn’t always) drop down and crush the symbols below it. This only happens if it benefits your win – so don’t worry about it dropping down and ruining it otherwise.

The main feature is called the Bonus Wheel, and this appears on the last two reels only. When it lands, you’ll see a wheel spinning, and it can either land on free spins or coin value amounts – whatever it lands on is what you win, which is the main attraction of playing the slot.
