Gonzo's Quest Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Gonzo’s Quest continues to attract Swiss, Belgian and wider European players with its cascading reels, increasing multipliers and well-known adventure theme.

Gonzo’s Quest is one of the most popular video slots ever released from Netent, and it’s not hard to see why the game has become one of the provider’s most esteemed and well-played titles. The game itself is themed around a South American historical theme, and you’ll be following Gonzo – an adventurer who sets out to try and find El Dorado.

This fictional city was featured in many mythical textures and stores from ancient South American culture. Thankfully you don’t need to get your walking boots on as you can go and explore from the comfort of your home.

Now, in terms of the actual game, it’s playable from as little as 20p per spin, making it perfect for those on a lower budget… but don’t worry if you’re used to playing at nosebleed staked either, as the maximum spin is capped at a whopping €50, so there’s plenty of win potential for players on all budgets.

The reels themselves are set against a stunning backdrop, which incorporates an Aztec temple, and a jungle, all of which help add to the game’s ambience and exciting gameplay.

Symbols on the reels are all various types of mask, which comes in a variety of colours, including grey, green, red, blue, purple, and orange.

There’s also a Scatter Symbol present too, and this looks like a giant golden stone that typically uncovers the front of a hidden temple.

Game Features

An awful lot is going on in Gonzo’s Quest, and the first thing you’ll notice is the symbol removal feature, which removes any winning symbols before replacing them with new ones.

This gives you a virtually unlimited chance of continual wins – from a single spin –and it’s a game format which has become very popular in recent times… it’s worth remembering that Gonzo’s Quest was one of the first slots to use it!

Now, in the main base game, every time you make a win, you’ll notice that a multiplier increases. The multiplier begins at 1X, and increases to 2X, 3X, and 5X with every consecutive win, and this continues until it’s at 5X, at which point it stays there, applying itself to any future wins.

There’s also a free spin round – which is known within the game as free falls bonus – and this is triggered by landing three or more of the scatter symbols anywhere in view.

Now, once you manage to land them, you’ll be rewarded with 10 free spins, and during the free spins bonus, you’ll notice that the multiplier values have increased to 3X, 5X, 9X, and 15X.

This – of course- gives you a much better chance of making big wins. If you’re lucky enough to make it up to the 15X, you can be near enough to guarantee some massive wins, with the top symbol paying a staggering 1,000X for matching a 5-of-a-kind combination while on this top multiplier!

It’s possible to win more free spins during the Gonzo’s Quest Bonus Round by landing another three or more bonus symbols, and there’s no cap on how many spins can be won, making Gonzo’s Quest one of the better slots games to play if you enjoy long, exciting bonus rounds!
