Three Pots of the Genie is a high-volatility online slot from Play’n GO, combining an Arabian Nights setting with a three-pot collection system and a Lock’n Gold Bonus.

The game is played on a 6×4 grid with 4,096 ways to win. Rather than using traditional paylines, winning combinations are created by landing matching symbols across adjacent reels from the left.

Above the reels sit three magical pots connected to Blue, Red and Purple Gem Scatters. When these symbols land, they charge their corresponding pots and may trigger the Lock’n Gold Bonus with one or more special modifiers active. Each pot has a different effect, including doubling Coin values, progressively increasing prizes or unlocking fixed jackpot rewards.

The base game also includes Multiplier Wilds, which can carry x2 or x3 values. If several Multiplier Wilds contribute to the same win, their values are added together before being applied.

Three Pots of the Genie has a default 96.20% RTP, although several lower configurations are available. Volatility is high, bets range from €0.10 to €100 per spin, and the maximum win is 10,000x the stake.

Game Features

Three Pots of the Genie focuses primarily on Multiplier Wilds, coloured Gem Scatters and the Lock’n Gold Bonus. The three pots can add different modifiers to the bonus, and multiple effects can potentially be active together.

Multiplier Wilds

The female Genie acts as the game’s Wild symbol and can appear across the reels. Wilds substitute for regular paying symbols to help complete winning combinations but do not substitute for Gem Scatters.

Some Wilds carry either an x2 or x3 multiplier. When multiple Multiplier Wilds contribute to the same winning combination, their multipliers are added together before being applied to the payout.

For example, an x2 Wild and an x3 Wild involved in the same win produce a combined x5 multiplier.

Three Magical Pots

Three coloured Gem Scatters are linked to the pots positioned above the reels:

• Blue Gem – Double
• Red Gem – Ignite
• Purple Gem – Bonus

Whenever a Gem Scatter lands, it travels to its corresponding pot. Each collected Gem provides a chance for the Lock’n Gold Bonus to activate with that pot’s modifier enabled. It is possible to enter the feature with multiple modifiers, including all three.

Lock’n Gold Bonus

The Lock’n Gold Bonus is the main feature in Three Pots of the Genie.

The round begins with 4 respins. Coin symbols can land on empty positions carrying values between 1x and 10x the stake. Once a Coin lands, it remains locked on the grid.

Landing additional Coins or qualifying Gem Scatters resets the available respins, allowing the feature to continue. The three pots can substantially change how these Coin values develop.

Blue Pot – Double Scatter

Activating the Blue Pot introduces the Double Scatter. When activated, it selects 1 to 3 random Coin symbols and doubles their current values. This can be particularly valuable when the feature has already accumulated higher-value Coins.

Red Pot – Ignite Scatter

The Red Pot unlocks the Ignite Scatter. This modifier chooses one Coin and increases its value by +1 or +2.

The selected Coin then continues receiving the increase on subsequent spins until the bonus ends, allowing its value to grow progressively during a longer Lock’n Gold round.

Purple Pot – Bonus Scatter

The Purple Pot activates a fixed-prize collection mechanic.

Four prizes are available:

Players need to fill three spaces on the corresponding prize meter to collect that reward. The largest is the Grand prize worth 1,000x the current stake.

Full Grid Prize

There is another reward for completely filling the Lock’n Gold grid. Filling every available position during the bonus awards an additional 500x the bet.

Importantly, this is awarded on top of the Coin values and other prizes collected during the feature.
