Pots of Power: Dragon’s Blessing is a slot developed by AvatarUX, combining a traditional 5-reel setup with a much larger bonus game built around three different Dragon Areas.

Game Features

Pots of Power: Dragon’s Blessing uses 5 reels, 3 rows and 25 fixed paylines. Winning combinations form from left to right, beginning on the first reel. The game features several symbol groups, including traditional card values and symbols inspired by its Chinese treasure theme.

The lower-paying symbols are 10, J, Q, K and A, awarding between 1x and 1.2x the stake for five matching symbols.

Higher-paying symbols include trees, dragons, flowers, oranges and gold pots. These award between 1.5x and 3x the stake for five matching symbols.

Regular Wild Symbols substitute for paying symbols but cannot replace Bonus symbols.

Expanding Wilds

Expanding Wilds provide the main special mechanic during regular gameplay. When a Wild lands on reel 2, 3 or 4, it can expand to cover the entire reel.

The Dragon associated with that reel then awards a multiplier to the expanded Wild. If the expanded Wild contributes to a winning payline, its multiplier applies to that payout.

When multiple expanded Wild reels contribute to the same winning combination, their multiplier values are added together. This mechanic gives the otherwise traditional base game an additional way to modify winning combinations.

Dragon Area Bonus Game

The Dragon Area Bonus Game is the main feature in Pots of Power: Dragon’s Blessing. Bonus Symbols can randomly trigger the feature and activate their corresponding Dragon Areas.

Depending on the trigger, one, two or all three Dragon Areas can become active. The feature uses a much larger 8×7 grid, providing a total of 56 positions. It begins with 3 spins, with Coins appearing on the grid carrying cash values.

When a Coin lands, it locks into position and the remaining spin counter resets to 3.

The feature continues until either:

• The spin counter reaches zero.
• All 56 grid positions are occupied.

Filling the entire grid awards the Grand Jackpot of 5,000x the stake. The bonus also includes Upgrade Symbols that can increase the size of each active Dragon Area.

Dragon Area Upgrades

Each Dragon has its own coloured Upgrade Symbols, which are collected on an Upgrade Ladder above the reels.

Collecting 3 Upgrade Symbols for a particular Dragon increases that Dragon Area by one level.

Dragon Areas can grow to a maximum size of 3×3 positions. The larger an area becomes, the more Coins it can potentially affect through its corresponding Dragon modifier. The three Dragons have different effects, allowing the bonus to develop in several ways depending on which areas are active and upgraded.

Red Dragon Area – Adder

The Red Dragon Area uses an Adder mechanic. It adds a random value to every Coin covered by its active area.

If the Red Dragon Area covers several Coins, each receives the same additional value. As the area grows, it can affect more Coin positions.

Yellow Dragon Area – Multiplier

The Yellow Dragon Area applies multipliers to Coins within its active area. Every Coin covered by the Yellow Dragon receives a multiplier.

When several Coins are covered, the same multiplier value applies to each of them. The Yellow Dragon therefore modifies existing Coin values rather than adding a separate fixed amount.

Blue Dragon Area – Jackpot Coin Flip

The Blue Dragon Area introduces the Jackpot Coin Flip mechanic. Coins covered by the Blue Dragon have a chance to transform into one of three jackpot symbols:

Existing Jackpot symbols can also be transformed again, potentially upgrading to a higher jackpot tier.

The Major Jackpot at 500x is the highest level available through the Blue Dragon’s Jackpot Coin Flip mechanic. This is separate from the 5,000x Grand Jackpot awarded for filling the entire 8×7 grid.

Feature Buy (xPress)

Pots of Power: Dragon’s Blessing includes two Feature Buy (xPress) options where available.

Standard Feature Buy – 80x the stake

• This purchase activates the Dragon Area Bonus Game with one, two or three Dragon Areas.

Enhanced Feature Buy – 250x the stake

• This purchase guarantees that all three Dragon Areas are active from the beginning of the bonus.

Both options provide direct access to the bonus rather than requiring a random Bonus symbol trigger.
