Cloudforge is a futuristic, action-themed slot from Relax Gaming that takes players aboard a heavily armed flying machine.

Combining steampunk-inspired aviation with science fiction, the game features an unusual crew, airborne insects and a mechanical setting where expanding Wilds and electric reels provide much of the action.

The playing grid is positioned aboard the aircraft, surrounded by machinery and weapons. A goblin-like captain, robotic characters and colourful energy symbols add to the game’s eccentric appearance. Rather than following a conventional fantasy or space adventure, Cloudforge mixes several visual styles into a distinctive airborne setting.

Game Features

Cloudforge uses 6 reels, 5 rows and 20 paylines, with stakes ranging from €0.10 to €100 per spin. The lower-paying symbols consist of six differently coloured orbs. Landing six matching orbs awards between 4x and 8x the stake.

Higher-paying symbols include items such as compasses, fuel containers and weapons, alongside the game’s captain. Six matching premium symbols award between 12.5x and 50x the stake. Alongside these regular symbols, Cloudforge features Wilds, Scatters and Super Scatters, which are involved in its main gameplay mechanics and bonus rounds.

Expanding Wilds

Expanding Wilds are one of Cloudforge’s central features. When a Wild lands, it expands upwards towards the top of the grid. Its multiplier increases by +1 for each position it moves.

If two Wilds appear on the same reel, the upper Wild expands first, followed by the lower Wild.

Where the two Wilds meet, their multipliers are multiplied together. This creates a different interaction from games where multiple Wild multipliers are simply added together. A winning line consisting of six Wild symbols pays 50x the stake.

Electric Reels

During both the base game and Free Spins, reels can become electric. When a Wild lands on an electric reel, its expansion behaves differently. Instead of expanding only upwards, the Wild first expands to the top of the reel and then downwards to the bottom.

The electric reel also doubles the visible Wild multiplier. Electric reels therefore provide an additional way for the expanding Wild mechanic to produce larger multiplier values.

Extermination Spins

Landing 3 Scatter symbols in the base game triggers 8 Extermination Spins. During this feature, Wild multipliers contribute to a global multiplier.

Whenever a Wild lands, its multiplier value is added to the global multiplier, which applies to all wins during the feature. This gives the bonus a different structure from the base game, where Wild multipliers operate through their expanding positions on the reels.

Landing another 3 Scatters during Extermination Spins awards 3 additional Free Spins.

Eradication Spins

Eradication Spins is the second Free Spins feature in Cloudforge. It is triggered by landing 2 regular Scatters and 1 Super Scatter in the base game.

The feature awards 8 spins and follows the same core mechanics as Extermination Spins, including the global multiplier system. However, Eradication Spins introduces an additional advantage: one randomly selected reel is guaranteed to be electric on every spin.

This ensures that the electric reel mechanic is present throughout the bonus.

Supercharge Feature Buys

Cloudforge includes five purchase options in its Supercharge menu. These provide access to guaranteed Wilds, modified reels or either of the two Free Spins features.

The two Free Spins purchases offer direct access to different versions of the bonus, with Eradication Spins including its guaranteed electric reel.

Enhanced Bet

Cloudforge also includes an Enhanced Bet option. Activating it increases the stake to 2.5x the base bet.

In exchange, the chance of triggering Extermination Spins is quadrupled. This option changes the frequency of entering the feature rather than guaranteeing a bonus on the next spin.
