Sweet Alchemy Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Sweet Alchemy is a popular video slot from Play’n Go, and the game is played on a giant 5X5 grid.

It contains many similar references to Candy Crush, and to be fair, it’s not hard to see why it’s so popular with players. Instead of worrying about pay-lines, wins are formed by matching four or matching symbols in a ‘cluster’ format anywhere in view.

The game can be played between 10p and €100 per spin, which means you can enjoy playing the game regardless of the kind of stake you’re typically playing at.

It’s also worth noting that the slot is fully mobile-optimised, allowing you to enjoy the game from most mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets.

Game Features

We’re going to head straight into looking at the bonuses and features, as this is where the majority of the game’s action can be found. You’ll notice on the left-hand side of the screen there’s a sugar metre.

If you manage to fill this up, you’ll see 2 striped wilds appearing on the screen, and they then replace 2 symbols from the reels. Various little ‘mini features’ like these can keep you going for a long time, ensuring continual action to look forward to.

You will activate the most important bonus if you’re lucky enough to get a win using a total of 38 or more symbols. This is called the Mix the Elixir Bonus, and you’ll benefit from 3 different candy spells.

Each time you get three additional winning symbols in view, you’ll get another candy spell, and there are 7 in total to look forward to. Once this bonus ends, you’ll also get the chance to pick from several potions that appear on your screen. These potions can multiply your win by up to 5X – and this is very beneficial if you can land the best symbols during the bonus!
