Gold Train Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

All aboard! The Gold Train is now departing from the developers at Pragmatic Play and onto your screens.

At first glance, Gold Train has all the retro feels of traditional gameplay on an old-school pokie. And while that is true, this slot also has a fun locomotive sub-theme with enough animations to keep the gaming session exciting.

The Gold Train slot game will depart from the 3-rowed, 3-reeled grid with just 3 fixed pay-lines. The symbols contain bars, bells and lucky 7s to add that classic vegas slot appeal, but there are also train-related symbols like the conductor’s hat and flags. To take a ride on this fast train, bets can be placed from just 0.03 cents and rise up to €15.00.

Now before this highly rewarding train leaves the station, you’ll be pleased to know that there are wilds on board. Silver scatter tickets will help you level up into the progressive bonus feature. In this feature, you will come across gold upgrade tickets. These add carriages to the next round for even greater prizes.

Pragmatic Play has managed to deliver a slot with many features in a very small playing field. We aren’t necessarily just talking about the bonus features but how the slot was developed.

The mash up an old-school pokie with a fun locomotive theme is just brilliant and highly entertaining, especially during the bonus round. Statistically, Gold Train is certainly not bad as the RTP is well above the industry average at 97.16%, with a medium to high variance.

Game Features

The Gold Train slot symbols can be split into higher value symbols such as the flags, hat and 777s. These symbols will payout from just 0.03c for landing two of the flag symbol at the minimum bet amount. At the other end of the scale, the 777s will award a payout of €150 for landing 3 of them on a payline.

The lower-tier symbols should not be dismissed as they can still bring in from0.01c for two of the Bar symbols to €50 for 3 of the triple Bar symbols.

The train symbol is WILD and will substitute for any other symbols except for the scatter symbol and the upgrade symbol. The wild symbol can also payout up to €2,500 when three of them land at the maximum bet amount.

The bonus game is triggered by landing three of the scatter symbols, which will award a random number of train carriages, with the lowest number being 10. During the base game, upgrade symbols can be collected, which will add additional carriages to the train.

Each upgrade symbol can award from 4 to 10 carriages. During the bonus feature, carriages can also contain additional upgrade symbols, which will add more carriages to the current train. Each carriage will also contain a cash prize.
