Gold Rush Showdown Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Gold Rush Showdown a video slot machine from AshGaming, released back in 2010. While it’s undoubtedly one of their older games, it’s becoming more popular amongst players, thanks to the availability of AshGaming games on platforms.

Indeed, the game is so old; it was made when the company was still called Amaya Gaming – so it’s old, for sure! However, just because Gold Rush Showdown* is a little old, don’t let that take away from the fact it’s an enjoyable play.

Unlike many of today’s Video Slot titles, Gold Rush Showdown doesn’t use a traditional setup – it’s designed to look like a Vegas Video Slot, and this is reflected through the way the game is laid out – go and see for yourself!

Game Features

A bunch of bonus games are featured inside Gold Rush Showdown, and the first is the Cowboy Video Slot Bandits Feature.

To trigger this bonus, you’ll need to land the “Billy the Quid” symbols on reel one and any bandit figure on any other reel. Here, you’ll enter a “shootout” round, where you manually must attempt to shoot as many of the bandits as you can to win cash prizes.

The free spins round is triggered by landing 3 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view, allowing you to enter the free spins bonus. When you do so, you have the chance to win cash prizes depending on how lucky your spins are – there’s also a progressive jackpot in this feature.

NOTE: you have a much better chance of winning the progressive by playing at a higher stake.
