Floating Dragon Hold & Spin Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Reel Kingdom designed Floating Dragon for Pragmatic Play in 2021, a slot that offers the popular Hold & Spin feature, allowing for some massive payouts to be hit. The slot, as implied by its title, offers an Asian theme, presented with warm colours.

Speaking of the theme, you will see that the low-paying symbols are the Royals, but the high-paying are the Chinese kites, fish, birds and butterflies, and the ship, offering payouts anywhere from 20x to 200x the stake.

On the sides of the reels, you’ll see beautiful Chinese pink flowers, and above the reels, you’ll see two lanterns with Chinese letters on them.

When it comes to layout, you get a 5×3 grid with 10 pay-lines. Wins are formed when matching symbols land from left to right on consecutive reels. The slot is medium to high volatile and offers a very generous RTP of 96.71%.

It can be played for bets of $0.10 to $250 per spin, and it can deliver a huge payout of 5,000x the stake. Meaning, eventually, it can take you to a max payout of $1,250,000! If you’re ready, let’s see how you could get closer to that payout!

Game Features

The one thing you will notice when you start playing Floating Dragon Hold & Spin is that, in addition to the Hold & Win feature, it features a popular feature introduced with the epic slot Fishin’ Frenzy, the Money Collection feature.

You trigger the bonus when you land 3, 4 or 5 Scatters on the grid, for which you get 10, 15 or 20 Free Spins.

The Lady Wild appears and when she lands at the same time as the fish money symbols, she grabs all of their values and gets collected herself, as well. For 4 Wilds you collect, the bonus is retriggered with 10 Free Spins.

On each retrigger, moreover, the Win Multiplier increases. For the second, third and fourth retrigger, you get a Win Multiplier of 2x, 3x and 10x, respectively, which applies to all fish money symbols. When Wilds are in view at the end of a spin, at random, fish symbols may appear.

The Gold Coins are money symbols which can only land on the 3rd reel. These get a random value of 1x to 20x the stake. Land 3 at once, and you trigger the Hold & Win feature. Only the money symbols stay on the reels, and all others are removed.

You get 3 Respins during which new money symbols add their values, and reset the Respins counter. The 3 triggering money symbols pay their values on each spin you manage to land a new coin.

Finally, you can also see Diamonds appearing during Respins. These take a value of 100x to 5,000x the stake, which is also the max payout potential. If you get out of Respins without achieving at least 20x the stake payout, you get 3 more Respins, so a second chance to win great payouts.
