Fire in the Hole 2 Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Fire in the Hole 2 by Nolimit City brings back explosive mining action with up to 46,656 ways to win, xBomb wilds, and a max win of 65,000x. It’s the perfect sequel – find out why in this review!

Now, if you’re a Nolimit City fan – and, to be honest, even if you’re not – you’ll probably have played, seen, or heard of the original Fire in the Hole.

Given its success, it wouldn’t be long until Nolimit City released a sequel – and the aptly-titled Fire in the Hole 2 is the end result!

Fire up this bad boy and you’re greeted with a 6-reel grid that starts with 486 ways to win but can expand to a mind-boggling 46,656. The visuals are solid – sharper than a miner’s pickaxe, some would say – and the symbols are designed in a beautiful 3D design that really makes them look as though they’re coming to life!

Now, like pretty much all Nolimit City games, Fire in the Hole 2 slot game is incredibly volatile. The slot has an above-average RTP of 96.07%, although, like most of their new releases, they do push out games in varying RTP settings.

There’s also an insanely high maximum win potential – a staggering 65,000x – so it’s easy to see why this has become one of their most successful releases to date!

Game Features

There’s a huge amount going on in Fire in the Hole 2 – and in the base game, you’ll find the Collapsing Mine feature. Each win triggers a collapse, opening up more rows and increasing your ways to win.

Next up you’ve got the xBomb Wild Multiplier. These explosive symbols substitute for any pay symbol and then detonate, removing adjacent symbols and increasing your multiplier for the next collapse.

The Wild Mining feature returns, triggered when 3-6 matching symbols align without forming a win. When this happens, wild symbols are then added to the game’s middle positions – and this can potentially set off a chain reaction of wins!

You’ll also find the xSplit feature returning – and, when it does, these symbols split all symbols in their row, potentially doubling your winning combinations. If a symbol gets split into 8, it even sees a multiplier value increase.

Finally, there’s the various free spins bonuses – known as Lucky Wagon Spins. Land 3, 4, or 5 scatters and you’ll trigger this bonus, with 2, 3, or 4 rows unlocked respectively. There’s also a bonus buy option that allows you to pay for instant entry into any of the above free spins rounds.
