Aztec Clusters is a video slot based on the all-time popular Aztec theme and the even more popular cluster pays mechanics.

The slot was developed and released by BGaming. Once again, the studio has delivered a vibrant, entertaining online slot that makes players want to come back and play it again.

Despite the fact that Aztec slots are quite popular and numerous, Aztec Clusters manages to breathe a bit of fresh air into the hundreds of similar themed slots. It’s an ancient slot bonanza with plenty of surprises if you’re willing to dig deep into the jungle.

Aztec Clusters Slot Base Game

Aztec Clusters plays out on a huge 6×8 grid with the cluster pays system. It’s set against a serene background of an Aztec temple with waterfalls. The symbols are colorful and bold and the music complements the visuals perfectly.

It’s tranquil and slow in the beginning and picks up the tempo as the game gets going. The minimum bet is €0,25 while the maximum is €25 per spin.

If you activate the wild spin mode you can play with as high as 20s the bet. It guarantees at least one wild symbol before each spin.

There are lower and higher paying symbols in Aztec Cluster, scatters and wilds. The lower paying ones are the gems with different colours, 4 to be exact. While the 3 different Aztec masks are the higher paying ones. The wilds can substitute any of these symbols to form a match.

As with all other cluster pay slots, a win occurs when you match 5+ symbols adjacently vertically or horizontally anywhere on the grid. Once you get a win, the winning symbols disappear and new fall down in their place. The cascades will continue for as long as you land winning clusters.

Aztec Clusters Free Spins

Land at least 3 scatters to receive up to 20 free spins. The number of spins you receive depends on the number of triggering scatters. Free spins can be retriggered if you land 3 extra scatters in the free spins round.

The bonus round begins with all triggering scatters transforming to wilds or cell multipliers whose values go as high as x10. All wilds are sticky for the duration of the bonus round and so are the cell multipliers.

If you want quick access to the bonus, you can pay for it. There are several options that come at a high cost. On the positive side, they increase your chances for bigger wins.

Your best option is to try the demo version and see how it works before you start playing for real money. You can get a feel of the slot and its many features and then start betting.
