Ace Ventura: Pet Detective Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Ace Ventura: Pet Detective is a Playtech slot based on the ageless movie hit. It stars the wacky world of the title character played by Jim Carrey, giving you the chance to solve a mystery with the PI. The slot features many iconic scenes from the movie which makes it even more exciting.

The core mechanics are simple – it has 243 winning ways and a familiar 5×3 setup. In-reel features and bonus modifiers will keep you spinning this slot while yelling the legendary Aaaaalrighty then!

The slot has a rather classic 5×3 layout and 243 ways to win. The minimum bet is $0.01 and the maximum is $40. You can use the + and – arrows to place a bet. Plan your budget carefully, as the volatility is medium to high.

The slot’s graphics are pretty vibrant. There are also some very funny animations as well as a great soundtrack. The symbols include Ace Ventura, the Rhino from the sequel, as well as many of Ace’s animal buddies.

Playing the slot is easy – you need 3 or more identical symbols on adjacent reels to hit a win, with the pet detective being the wild. It can help link wins together, but it doesn’t pay on its own.

In-reel features can trigger on any base game spin. They include Ace’s Sneaky Walk which adds wild stacks, the Loser! feature that respins on losing spins, and Jungle Friends where Ace summons his buds for extra wilds.

Game Features

The free spins round is triggered by 3 bonus symbols on reels 1, 3, and 5. You receive 7 free spins with 6 different animal modifiers into play.

Collect 2 of them during the base game and use them in the free spins for some elephant wins. The modifiers include:

• Extra spins
• Expanded reels
• Symbol upgrades
• Reel 3 wild multiplier
• Random wilds
• Mystery win multipliers

You can combine up to 3 modifiers in the bonus round. It all depends on what you earn in the base game, but one thing’s for sure – they all have great winning potential.
