Game of Thrones: Seven Kingdoms is Blueprint Gaming’s first slot based on HBO’s Game of Thrones universe, taking players into Westeros with the Iron Throne, famous houses and familiar characters forming the backdrop to a progression-heavy Cash Collect game.

The action takes place on a 6×4 grid with 4,096 ways to win, where matching symbols pay across adjacent reels from left to right.

This slot machine has a 94% RTP, a hit frequency of approximately 1 in 4 spins, a Free Spins frequency of 1 in 280 spins, high volatility, bets from £0.10 to £100, and a maximum win of 17,000x the bet. Lower RTP configurations of 93% and 92% also exist.

What separates Seven Kingdoms from a straightforward branded slot is its long-form progression system. The game begins with only the Night’s Watch Collect available, but continued Cash Collections progressively unlock Stark, Baratheon, Lannister and Targaryen Collects, each introducing a different modifier. Eventually, the Westeros Bonus Map becomes available as well, allowing the next Iron Throne Bonus Round to be upgraded before it even begins.

It’s an ambitious setup with plenty to unlock, although the 94% top RTP is difficult to overlook, particularly for a slot designed around extended play and gradual progression.

Game Features

The dragon-eye Wild can appear on reels 2 to 6 and substitutes for regular paying symbols, helping to complete or improve winning combinations. It does not replace the game’s special Cash, Jackpot, Collect or Bonus symbols.

Cash Symbols & Jackpots

Gold Cash symbols can land with individual values ranging from 0.5x to 15x the bet.

Four Jackpot Cash symbols can also appear:

• Minor – 50x
• Major – 200x
• Mega – 2,500x

These prizes become payable when an appropriate Collect symbol lands alongside them.

Cash Collect

Collect symbols can appear on reels 1 and 6 and expand to occupy the entire reel. When a Collect lands together with Cash or Jackpot symbols, it gathers all applicable prizes currently visible on the grid.

Only the Night’s Watch Collect is initially available. Using the latest unlocked collector successfully unlocks the next house in the progression, gradually opening four additional Collect types.

Stark Collect

Stark is the first house-specific upgrade. After collecting the Cash prizes, other symbols are removed and replaced while the Cash and Jackpot symbols remain. This process can repeat whenever additional Cash or Jackpot symbols appear, potentially providing further collection opportunities.

Baratheon Collect

The Baratheon Collect changes any reel containing a Cash or Jackpot symbol into a full reel of Cash symbols before the collection takes place. This can dramatically increase the number of prizes available for the resulting collection.

Lannister Collect

The Lannister Collect focuses on increasing prize values. Before Cash symbols are collected, their values can be boosted by up to 5x the bet, adding extra value to the collection.

Targaryen Collect

The final unlock is the Targaryen Collect. Once the initial Cash prizes have been collected, reels containing no Cash symbols are respun. This process can repeat up to five times, creating opportunities for additional Cash prizes and further collections.

Unlocking Targaryen also opens the game’s Bonus Map, adding another progression system to the base game.

Treasure Chest Modifiers

Cash symbols that appear without being collected aren’t necessarily wasted. Instead, they feed the Treasure Chest positioned above the reels.

The chest can randomly activate one of several modifiers:

• Bonus Boost adds at least three Bonus symbols and triggers the bonus round.
• Dragon Fire creates a guaranteed win by adding higher-value symbols, potentially including Wilds.
• Dragon Inferno transforms at least one reel into a full Cash-symbol reel.
• Dragon Blast changes the symbols to guarantee a win.
• Dragon Fury adds Cash symbols before collecting them.

Longclaw Symbol

Landing the Longclaw symbol alongside a Collect activates its own feature. Longclaw expands across the entire reel before revealing either an instant Cash prize between 5x and 1,000x the bet or access to the Super Bonus.

The Super Bonus outcome only becomes available after the Bonus Map has been unlocked.

Westeros Map Upgrades

Once the Targaryen Collect has unlocked the Bonus Map, landing two Scatter symbols can activate the Westeros progression trail. Players move up to five positions along the map, collecting upgrades that are stored for the next Iron Throne Bonus Round.

Possible upgrades include:

• Treasure Boost – improves the probability of bonus modifiers.
• +Spins – adds up to five Free Spins.
• Cash Attack – removes everything except Cash and Collect symbols.
• Trail Boost – improves the bonus trail multipliers to 3x, 4x, 6x and 15x.
• Collect Up – increases the chance of feature Collect symbols.
• +Crowns – increases the chance of Crown Cash symbols.

The important distinction is that these aren’t immediate rewards. They improve the next Bonus Round, giving base-game progression a direct effect on what happens once Free Spins finally trigger.

Iron Throne Bonus Round

Landing 3 or more Bonus Scatters activates the Iron Throne Bonus Round with 10 Free Spins.

All previously unlocked Collect mechanics remain relevant during the feature. A separate progression trail sits above the reels and advances after every third Cash Collection:

Iron Throne Super Bonus

The Super Bonus Round can be reached through Longclaw or by reaching the end of the Westeros Bonus Map.

This enhanced version removes the ordinary paying symbols entirely. Only blank positions, Cash/Jackpot symbols and Collect symbols remain available during the feature, concentrating the gameplay entirely around the game’s collection mechanics.
