Big 5 Safari Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Big 5 Safari is a video slot from Nektan Gaming. Nektan is that case, they’re one of the world’s largest and most prominent suppliers of casino games and online casino software – powering casinos such as “Best of British” and “Best of Australian”.

While the company are perhaps known best for their casinos rather than games, they do have several really exciting, respected titles. In this post, we’re going to be looking at Big 5 Safari slot game – one of their most popular and exciting titles to play!

Now, the Big 5 Safari has become such a hit with players can largely be attributed to its state-of-the-art and high-quality graphics, which help make the game as accessible and enjoyable as possible.

From the moment you open up the game and begin playing, you’ll see that there’s an incredibly well-designed background, which takes the form of an African Plaines.

Symbol-wise, you’ll see traditional playing card symbols, including Ten, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace as the lower-paying symbols.

There are also several game-specific symbols which are the higher paying ones, and this includes an Elephant, a Cheater, a Rhino, a Bull, and a Lion. The game also features a scatter symbol alongside a wild – and the scatter symbol is the one you’ll want to watch, as this is the symbol that secures entry to the main bonus round!

Game Features

As with most Nektan Slots Games, the main bonus round is a free spins feature, and to trigger this, you need to land three, four or five of the scatter symbols anywhere in view.

Once you do, you’ll be awarded eight free spins, and before the free spins begin, you’ll be asked to pick one of the higher-paying animal symbols.

The one you pick will then be the only animal symbol present on the reels… which, of course, can lead to massive, monstrous wins! It’s not possible to re-trigger the free spins bonus round, but this generally isn’t too much of an issue, as you’ll generally find the bonus round pays handsomely anyway. Hence, it’s not too much of a disappointment.
