Witchcraft Academy Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Witchcraft Academy is a magical video slot from Netent, and it’s proving to be one of their most popular releases yet, to date.

Thanks to the fascinating mythology of the 160,000-coin jackpot, which equates to a very generous 800X your total bet. And that’s just from one singular spin, too!

The game is based around a magical theme, perhaps reminiscent of something like Harry Potter. On the reels, you’ll see various symbols and characters, including Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds, and Spades, the lower-paying symbols and the Dragons, Owls, Wizards, and Witches, which of course, make up the higher-paying symbols.

As with almost all of Netent’s slots, the game carries an autoplay facility. This allows you to set several spins to spin automatically, up to a maximum of 1,000 (or 100 if you’re a resident of the United Kingdom.)

The game can be played from as little as 20p per spin, and some casinos offer you the ability to spin as much as €400 per spin. However, this depends on the casino the game’s offered and doesn’t necessarily affect the overall stake at all casinos.

The gameplay is smooth, fluid, and exciting, and you’ll benefit from being able to enjoy some of the best, most dynamic gameplay you’ll have ever seen.

Game Features

The main bonus round is the Elements bonus game, triggered when you land three or more bonus symbols anywhere in view on a singular spin.

You are then tasked with picking one of the bonus symbols that appears on the reels, and this determines the type of bonus round that you’ll be awarded.

The various bonus rounds you can win are shown below:

1. Coin Win: This is as simple as it sounds, and if you pick this option, you’ll be awarded a coin-value win, ranging between 10 and 200 times your total stake.
2. Armour Bonus: If you pick this bonus, you’ll see an animation appearing on your screen, affecting all symbols in subsequent view. This then changes all symbols in a vertical or horizontal pattern into matching ones, leading to big-win potential and a decent opportunity to scoop a large hit!
3. Scatters: If you pick the scatter symbols, you’ll enter the free spins bonus round, which can award up to 15 free spins with up to a 5X multiplier. You can also be awarded a wild overlay symbol on the first and fifth reels, although it’s worth noting that the exact set-up will change each time you play, as it depends on what you pick in terms of what you end up getting.
