Sweet Skulls Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Sweet Skulls holds some very strong resemblances with Play’n Go’s “Grim Muerto”, and while the game is fundamentally different.

If you’ve ever played the Play ‘N Go Slots version before, you’ll likely see the similarities within just a few seconds of playing.

That aside, scatter symbols is a beautifully-designed game from Aristocrat Gaming Technologies, and like most of their Video Slots, it boasts HD graphics, and great gameplay.

It seems to be some kind of combination of a New Orleans Mardi Gras, alongside Candy-Crush themed imagery, as well as the Mexican Voodoo “Skullness” that the games name tends to give away – and while it’s a pretty weird theme… Aristocrat Gaming Technologies do a great job at pulling it off and making it a fantastic game to play!

You can choose to play Sweet Skulls pokie machine from as little as €0.20 per spin, and right up to a max bet of €4.

Here at Slots4Play, we were really surprised to see the max bet capped at such a low figure, and even for slots that can pay €500,000 +, €4 is low… but Aristocrat Gaming Technologies have their reasons, and the majority of players will rarely ever stake that high anyway, so it’s not really an issue. Just something work mentioning.

Game Features

The main attraction of scatter symbols is the free spins bonus. The free spins round is triggered by landing 3 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view, and this allows you to enter the free spins bonus.

You’ll received between 9 and 36 free spins, depending on how many scatter symbols you managed to land, and once you’ve landed the free spins, you select one of the higher-value icons, which then becomes wild for the duration of the free spins.

In terms of the icons on the reels, you’ll see traditional playing card symbols, including 10, J (Jack), Q (Queen), K (King), and A (Ace), and game-specific imagery.
