Shen Nong Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Shen Nong is Asian inspired slot from the developers at KA Gaming. This game is about a mythological deity and ruler called Shennong. He was said to have taught the Chinese people about herbal medicine, agriculture and farming.

The background showcases fields of farmlands while the symbols depict cattle, crops, herbs, card values and farming equipment.

Charming graphics and a traditional Asian tune keep players company as they discover the bonus features and symbols found across the 6×4 grid with 4,096 win ways.

The betting range for this game is between 0.20 cents and €300.00 per spin, which means every play style is catered for. The volatility for this game is high, while the RTP is an average 96.00%.

Bonus features for Shen Nong include scatter pays and wilds during the base game, but big money wins lie in the free spins round, and when we say big money, it means the top prize is worth 17,496x the bet. During the free spins rounds, wins created by wilds are awarded a 3x or 5x multiplier.

Shen Nong may at first seem unassuming, but that’s the beauty of this game; it’s surprising. There may not be many bonus features, but boy, are they highly effective. For example, if playing at max bet and you land 6 scatter symbols, players are rewarded with 50 free spins and €30,000.00! Totally worth a shot if you ask us.

Game Features

In the Shen Nong game, symbols are divided into two categories – lower-value and higher-value. Lower-value symbols, including 10, J, Q, K, and A, offer payouts ranging from 1.2x to 2x for five matching symbols. Higher-value symbols such as Plant, Corn, Hoe, Ox, Farmer and Woman offer payouts of 2.4x to 12x for five symbols.

The wild symbol is represented by Shen Nong, serving as a substitute for any symbol except the scatter symbol. When the wild symbol appears during free spins, it offers multipliers of 3x or 5x.

The scatter symbol triggers the free spins feature, activating the bonus round with 10, 15, 25 or 50 free spins when landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatter symbols, respectively. In addition to awarding the free spins, getting 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatter symbols will also give 2x, 10x, 30x or 100x the bet amount as a cash prize.
