Santa's Big Bash Megaways Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

It’s that time of year again when we all eat, drink and be merry and that seems to include Santa and a few of his friends, both from the North Pole and other fairy tales. In Santa’s Big Bash Megaways from Iron Dog Studios, we see Santa the morning after the night before as he soldiers on to bring players exciting wins.

In the beautifully decorated home of Mr. Clause is a warm toasty fire, a Christmas tree with loads of baubles and the huge 6 reel grid with 2-7 symbols per reel. There are also up to 117,649 win ways. Players can see the number of win ways landed per spin, displayed on a meter on top of the grid.  The betting range is pretty inclusive and starts at 0.20c rising to €20.00.

The Christmas party theme is carried throughout the gaming session and can especially be appreciated in the bonus features. For bonus features players have free spins, a tumble feature, wilds, multipliers, re-spins and Rudie the reindeer that hands out random gifts.

Santa’s Big Bash Megaways is sure to be a smash hit slot this season thanks to its quirky theme, excellent bonus features and generous top prize amount of up to 25,000x the stake.

Game Features

The symbols are a nostalgic mix of playing cards and Christmas-themed symbols that pay out between 2x and 500x your betted amount. When symbols create a win, the winning symbols are destroyed, and new ones tumble into their places from above.

The life of the party is the wild, magical baubles and Rudie the Reindeer symbols. The wild symbol can substitute for all other symbols besides the magical baubles and land on reels 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. The magic baubles can only appear during tumbles in the base game, with a maximum of 3 bauble symbols being able to land and activate 1 to 3 baubles on the Christmas tree.

Rudie, the Reindeer, can add between 2-4 additional wilds to tumbles, along with activating a maximum of 3 baubles on the tree in the base game and adding up to 4 free spins during the free spins feature.

The free spins feature will be activated once 8 baubles are lit up on the tree. Each bauble represents a level of free spins. 8 and 9 baubles provide 8 and 9 free spins, respectively whereas 10 and 11 baubles offer 10 and 11 free spins as well as a 2x multiplier.

Should you not have the patience or the inclination to wait for symbols to trigger the bonus features then you can buy them from 70x to 210x your bet. Unfortunately, you must be outside of the UK to use this feature.
