Santa vs Rudolf Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Santa vs Rudolf is an online slot game from NetEnt. This festive-themed game offers a fun twist on the traditional Christmas story, featuring an amusing rivalry between Santa Claus and his loyal reindeer, Rudolf.

Santa vs Rudolf provides players with a light-hearted and enjoyable gaming experience that captures the spirit of the holiday season.

The game’s design showcases a charming snowy landscape with a bright and colourful atmosphere. The visuals are crisp, and the characters are rendered in a playful cartoon style.

The soundtrack comprises a lively Christmas tune that perfectly complements the game’s cheerful theme. The background features a picturesque village adorned with festive decorations, setting the stage for the epic showdown between Santa and Rudolf.

Santa vs Rudolf has a standard layout with 5 reels, 3 rows, and 20 fixed paylines. However, wins are paid both ways – so they can be formed from both left-to-right and right-to-left. The game offers a versatile betting range, starting from 0.2 credits and going up to 100 credits per spin.

The game has an RTP of 96.35% and a medium-to-high variance math model. The maximum win potential in Santa vs Rudolf is a generous 1,000 times your bet, which isn’t too bad for a Netent slot.

The symbols in Santa vs Rudolf are inspired by the festive theme, with low-value symbols represented by colourful card suit icons in the form of Christmas ornaments.

High-value symbols include various items related to Santa and Rudolf, such as gifts, reindeer collars, and Santa’s sleigh. The game also features two wild symbols, represented by Santa and Rudolf, and a scatter symbol, depicted as a combination of the two characters.

Game Features

Santa vs Rudolf boasts a range of engaging bonuses and features that enhance the gameplay experience. The game’s primary feature is the Walking Wilds, which activate when Santa or Rudolf wild symbols appear on the reels.

The wilds then move horizontally across the reels with each spin, potentially forming winning combinations along the way.

Another significant feature is the Free Spins round, triggered when Santa and Rudolf wild symbols collide on the same row. Players are awarded 10 free spins, and during this round, more wild symbols can appear, increasing the chances of re-triggering additional free spins.

Furthermore, the game includes a unique Bonus Meter feature, which fills up as Santa and Rudolf wild symbols collide during the Free Spins round. Once the meter is full, players can unlock either the Santa’s Gifts bonus game or Rudolf Spins feature.

The Santa’s Gifts bonus game offers a pick-and-click experience with the opportunity to win coin prizes and multipliers. In contrast, the Rudolf Spins feature grants three spins with five randomly placed Rudolf wild symbols on each spin.
