You will see special spots on the grid, Eye Marks, and if you manage to land a winning combo on these spots, you’ll see 2 Special Wilds added on the next non-winning cascade.
The 2 special Wilds that can appear are the regular Wild Book and the 2x Wild Multiplier displaying Rich Wilde.
Landing winning combos, you fill out the Portal Meter, which triggers modifiers. For 7 symbols in the meter, you get 2 Special Wilds. For 14, in addition to 2 Special Wilds, you get the Abyss Portal Effect bonus if the win was formed with a Wild.
With 27 symbols, you could get to the Void Portal Effect bonus in addition to the Wilds if the win was formed with a Wild. And with 42 symbols, you trigger the Other World Free Round bonus.
The Abyss removes a row or a column from the winning Wild symbol, adding the removed symbols to the Portal Meter. The Void randomly chooses 1 regular symbol and clears all instances of that symbol from the reels.
The Other World Free Round gives you 1 Free Spin with 3 Portal Effects. For every 3 symbols collected in the Meter, you get 3 additional Portal Effects.
These are the Special Wilds effect, giving 4 Special Wilds to the grid, and the Abyss and Void, which are similar to the ones in the base game but with 4 Special Wilds added to the grid.
During the bonus round, the Mega Wild makes an appearance. This happens if you manage to land winning combos on the Eye Marks and open all eyes. When it appears, it moves down for each cascade, helping you form massive wins before disappearing from the grid.
