Instead, the low-paying symbols are depicted by different coloured gems. The high-paying symbols are game-specific symbols and include a Necklace, a Crown, a collection of Sea Shells, and the Mermaid Wild – which is the most lucrative of all the symbols.

The Pearl Symbol acts as the scatter symbol, and this is what you’ll need to enter the free spins round. Land three or more of them, and you’ll be awarded a random number of free spins between 8 and 16. Once you begin the free spins, you’ll be taken to a new set of reels, where you’ll see all the low-paying gemstone symbols removed from the game!
