Luck O' the Irish Fortune Spins 2 Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

As its title suggests, Luck O’ the Irish Fortune Spins 2 is a sequel to the original launched way back in 2015.

The second instalment in the Irish luck-themed series by Blueprint Gaming was launched in 2021, so years later, and expectedly, offers a lot more than the original.

Design-wise, you get a typical Irish-themed slot, with grassy fields and rainbows in the background. Compared to the original, the theme is presented with more modern graphics and symbol design, we must admit.

The sounds have been improved, too. As far as symbols on the reels go, they are standard to the theme. You can see the playing card Royals 10, J, Q, K and A as the low-pays, giving you 5x to 10x the stake for the top combo, followed by the emeralds, rubies, diamonds and pots of gold, allowing for wins from 15x to 25x the stake for a 5-of-a-kind combo.

When it comes to payouts, you should expect wins of up to 50,000x the stake or $250,000, whichever you achieve first. Bets go from $0.10 to $500 per spin, and the slot is highly volatile.

It does not offer the greatest of RTPs, so expect anywhere from 95.05% to 95.32%, depending on the jurisdiction. You get a 5×4 grid with 20 paylines to create winning combos on, so let’s see how you can form wins actually.

Game Features

If you’re playing from a jurisdiction that allows it, you can purchase a Fortune Spins bonus feature access by paying $2 to $500. 4 reel sets will be presented on the screen, and they’ll all make a spin to provide you with the 4 spins the Bonus Buy option grants you, one by one.

During the bonus, when the game’s logo symbol lands, it transforms into the same matching symbol, allowing for awesome wins. Any Mystery symbol you land gets replicated on the remaining grids.

The Mystery Symbols may also land in the bonus round, enhancing your odds of winning big. This is one of the main differences between the original and the sequel, actually.

A new feature added in the sequel is the Money Spins. This is essentially a Hold & Win bonus round, which gets triggered when at last 1 Scatter lands anywhere on the grid.

The triggering Scatters become Sticky, and a new reel set is presented, where only coins and blanks land. You start with 3 Respins, during which coins land with values on them and remain Sticky resetting the Respins counter to 3.

When you manage to fill the entire grid with coins, or you run out of Respins, the bonus ends, and wins are evaluated.
