Karen Maneater Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Karen Maneater by Nolimit City serves up post-apocalyptic mayhem with xWays mechanics, infectious wilds, and a max win of 11,757x. Find out all about the game in this detailed review!

Just when you thought they couldn’t get any weirder, Nolimit City released Karen Maneater on us – and this is definitely one of the weirdest, most unusual slot games we’ve seen in a while!

This game takes the “Karen” meme and cranks it up to 11, serving a post-apocalyptic hellscape where entitled women have apparently developed a taste for man flesh. It’s as crazy as it sounds, and we’re here for it.

Once you load up the game, you’re met with a 6-reel grid that starts with 486 ways to win but can expand to a massive 117,649. It’s playable from as little as 10p per spin, too – so those on a tight budget should have no issues finding a stake size that suits them.

Regarding the game’s symbols, you’ll find a mixture of characters – the high-paying ones – and icons, like toilet paper and guns! Now, as you can probably imagine – it’s a really volatile game, although the RTP comes in at a straight 96%, which is surprisingly good.

In terms of the maximum win potential – it’s not as big as other Nolimit City Games, but still worth much more than most game developers – and it’s set at 11,757x!

Game Features

The base game kicks off with the xWays and Infectious xWays features. These mystery symbols can reveal 2 to 4 instances of regular symbols, potentially infecting other matching symbols on the reels.

Then, you’ve got the Infectious Wild. This symbol only appears on the 6th reel, and when it does, it nudges up and down, increasing the multiplier each time that it does.

Now, as we’ve become used to seeing in most Nolimit City games, the main bonus is a free spins bonus – and it’s triggered by landing three or four scatter symbols in view. Doing so awards seven or 10 free spins respectively – and during the free spins, there are a number of modifiers in play.

Firstly, all of the scatter symbols transform into sticky xWays symbols. These sticky xWays start at two-positions high, but they grow by one position on each subsequent spin! They can, if you’re lucky, expand to a total of 42 positions high – although it’s worth noting that they are basically represented as multipliers within the game.

You can also use the bonus buy mechanics to buy instant entry into the free spins bonus rounds. However, please be aware that UK casino players are unable to do so – due to new regulations imposed by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission (UKGC).
