Game Features
The core mechanic behind Infectious 5 xWays is its Infectious xWays mechanic, and this not only significantly changes the dynamic of the reels—but also offers the most win potential, both in the base game and the main free spins bonus.
Now, when xWays symbols land, they expand to reveal 2-3 identical symbols, and this directly impacts the number of ways-to-win for that spin.
If xWays lands with a wild, the Infectious xWays feature activates, too. The symbol involved then “spreads” across the grid, making it easier to form wins – and big ones at that!
Landing three, four, or five scatter symbols anywhere in view triggers the game’s main free spins bonus, and depending on how many scatter symbols you landed, you’ll then receive one of three different bonuses. We’ll look at these below.
- Toxic Hazard Free Spins: This mode awards 9 or 10 spins, and on each spin, bewteen one and five random wilds are added to the middle reels on every spin. xWays symbols are automatically infectious, too, making it instantly easier to form big wins!
- Lock n’ Load Free Spins: If you trigger this bonus, you’ll receive 7 or 8 spins with sticky wilds that remain in place throughout the feature. These wilds can come with multipliers (x2 or x3), and additional wilds grant extra spins. xWays symbols are guaranteed to activate Infectious xWays, again, making it far easier to form big wins!
- Infectious Spins: Mayhem Mode: Landing five scatter symbols upgrades your bonus to Mayhem Mode. Depending on the version you choose (Toxic Hazard Mayhem or Lock n’ Load Mayhem), all Infectious 5 symbols transform into golden variants. These symbols dominate the reels, creating and this is, arguably, where the game’s maximum win potential can actually be won!
Plus, like most Nolimit City Games, Infectious 5 xWays slot game allows you to purchase entry to all bonuses and features. The bonus buy mechanic costs between 75x and 555x your stake depending on the option you choose.
