Floating Dragon New Year Festival Megaways Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

As the fireworks of the New Year are just about to ignite, so is the excitement with Pragmatic Play and Reel Kingdom’s latest spectacle, Floating Dragon New Year Festival Megaways.

Floating Dragon New Year Festival Megaways slot is a vibrant celebration of Asian culture, bursting with colour and tradition. Say goodbye to the Dragon Boat Festival Hold & Spin and the Megaways versions, and hello to a night-time festival that will light up your screen and possibly your fortune.

Set against a backdrop of a blue-lit square and leaning pagodas (seemingly curious about your next spin), this game promises more than just a visual feast.

It’s an invitation to partake in an age-old celebration, albeit with a modern twist. With a grid larger than its predecessors and an ante bet feature that’s as new as this year’s dragon dance, the game retains the charm of its lineage while adding a fresh flavour to the mix.

Still, don’t let the familiar features fool you; Floating Dragon New Year Festival is like a well-aged wine in a new bottle. Whether you’re betting a modest $0.20 cents or going all out with $240, the game adapts to your style.

The ante bet spices things up by 50%, increasing your chances of catching those elusive scatters. And for those who like to control their destiny, the feature buy option is your ticket to instant excitement. But we’re getting ahead of ourselves; this is still the introduction, after all – look below for the features!

Game Features

Every feature in Floating Dragon New Year Festival Megaways is like a chapter in an ancient Chinese legend. The ‘Fish Money Symbol‘ turns the free spins into a real angler’s dream. These symbols come with a value of 2x to a whopping 5,000x your bet, turning the base game into a thrilling hunt for the big catch.

‘Mystery Symbols‘ add an element of intrigue, like a fortune cookie waiting to reveal its message. In the base game, they transform into a uniform pay symbol, but during free spins, they take a more enigmatic route, potentially transforming into any symbol if the lady and fish money symbols aren’t in sight.

The ‘Free Spins‘ feature is like the grand finale of the New Year’s fireworks. Landing dragon scatters can award up to 25 free spins, where the lady symbol plays a pivotal role, collecting the value of fish money symbols. And with each collection of four ladies, more free spins are unlocked, along with increasing multipliers that can scale to celestial heights.

Then there’s the Hold & Spin feature, a treasure trove waiting to be unlocked. Land three coin symbols, and watch as they lock in place for a series of respins, each potentially adding to your fortune. Keep an eye out for diamond symbols, as they can multiply your bet up to 2,000 times.
