Fishin' for Gold Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Fishin’ for Gold is a highly entertaining online slot from iSoftBet that features a mix of themes. The fishing part is of course there, but it also takes us on a winter journey. It comes with a 5×3 layout and 25 paylines where you can win some hefty prizes.

The software provider has set the bet limits for this slot game between $0.25 and $25. In order to receive a payout, you will first need to land on a winning combination. That combination must feature 3, 4, or 5 matching symbols.

This online slot features an RTP rate of 96.05%. It is a good percentage for a casino game, which is also the average rate for online slots. It gives you a pretty decent chance of making a profit.

Fishin’ for Gold also features a high volatility level. If you don’t know what this means, it shows that the prizes are bigger than the ones on the other volatile slots. However, you will form winning combinations less frequently.

Just like most online slots from iSoftBet, Fishin’ for Gold is accessible on any mobile, tablet, or PC device. It works perfectly and without lagging on all Android and iOS smartphones. Also, the gameplay does not differ in any way between the featured devices.

Game Features

The software provider included 10 symbols, where 8 of them come with direct cash prizes. These paying symbols are the bear, penguin, bucket with fish, boot, and card symbols from J to A.

You will also use the Bonus symbols and Gone Fishin’ Signs. The bear provides the biggest rewards in this game, which go up to 40x the bet. Penguins give out payouts of up to 20x the bet.

The bucket with fish and boot symbols are worth up to 12x the bet. A’s rewards up to 6x the bet while K’s pays up to 5x the bet. Lastly, Q’s and J’s provide prizes of up to 4x the bet.

When you land the golden fish bonus symbol on reels 2-4, you will activate the Fishin’ for Gold bonus round. Your duty is to choose a fisherman to go at the surface to hunt for extra Wilds, multiplier Wilds, and free spins.

If you trigger the free spins, then any symbol that you caught during the bonus round will become a golden Wild. They can substitute for all other symbols apart from the Gone Fishin’ Signs. Also, for every 3 collected Gone Fishin’ Signs, you receive 2 extra spins.

Hitting 2 Bonus symbols on the reels will activate the Bonus Chance round. You will spin a wheel for a chance of getting another Scatter and trigger the Fishin’ for Gold bonus round. For every use of the wheel, you will have to pay 1x the bet.
