Book Of Cats Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

There isn’t a person who is not fascinated by the beauty of Ancient Egypt. The golden ancient country was obsessed with various deities, one of which was the cat goddess named Bastet.

Bastet and cats in general are the main theme in Book of Cats, a BGaming slot that pairs cats with the Book of… mechanic.

If you ever played Book of… slots, you already know the drill. The slot’s highly volatile math model is paired with 10 paylines and a base game/free spins combo with expanding symbols in the mix.

Book Of Cats Slot Base

The Book Of Cats slot is of 5×3 grid and 10 pay-lines. The minimum bet is €0.10 and the maximum is €10. While it has 5 active reels, there’s a 6th one that’s blocked except for the middle position.

Symbols include differently colored cats, an Ankh, a Book of Gold, pharaohs, and the usual set of card royals.

The action is pretty straightforward. Land three or more matching symbols on a line for a win. The golden book wild can land on the grid and replace for standard symbols in winning combinations.

In the base game, the 6th reel is locked except for a single cell. If you hit a winning combination on the reels, the 6th reel matches the winning symbol, thus boosting your payouts.

There’s no other special feature in the base game. But, there’s a special bonus round trigger by 3 or more scatters.

Book Of Cats Free Spins Round

The free spins feature triggers when you land 3 or more scatters. Similar to other Book of… slots, it comes with an expanding symbol.

You receive 10 free spins to start with. Before the bonus begins, the slot will choose one symbol as the expanding one. It can be any symbol but the book. On top of that, it fully unlocks he 6th reel for extra wins.

Whenever the expanding symbol lands, it will cover its respective reel. It pays for even non-adjacent positions, so the winning potential is higher than the base game. Additional free spins can be won during the bonus round by landing 3+ scatters.

Book of Cats also has a gamble round. You can double any win you hit by guessing the color or suit of the cards presented on the screen. Keep in mind that it’s a 50/50 game, so you can also lose your winnings.
