Stompin’ Gold is a light-hearted Bigfoot adventure from Play’n GO that follows young explorer Jack Tracker into the wilderness in search of two elusive creatures named Biggie and Boogie.

Rather than treating the legendary beasts as something frightening, the game gives them a playful personality, with the pair hiding around the campsite, teasing Jack and occasionally interfering with the reels.

Behind the woodland theme is a 5×3 slot with 20 paylines, a default 96.20% RTP and extremely high 10/10 volatility. Bets range from €0.10 to €100, while the headline figure is an enormous 50,000x maximum win, although its listed probability is less than one in a billion spins.

Mystery Symbols

Mystery Symbols can appear during regular spins and reveal matching paying symbols. There is also a chance for individual Mystery positions to reveal a Wild or Bounty Coin, giving what initially looks like an ordinary mystery reveal the potential to feed directly into the game’s other mechanics.

Biggie & Boogie Wild Upgrades

Biggie and Boogie aren’t simply characters decorating the background. Their appearances can directly change the Wild Symbols on the reels.

• If Biggie appears alongside Wilds, the Wilds become Expanding Wilds.
• If Boogie appears, the Wilds receive multipliers ranging from x2 to x100.

Get both creatures together and the Wilds can become expanding multiplier Wilds, combining both effects. When several multiplied Wilds contribute to the same payline, their multiplier values are added together before being applied to the win.

This is one of the better connections between Stompin’ Gold’s theme and its mechanics, since spotting one or both Bigfoot characters can genuinely change the outcome of a spin.

Bounty Coins

Bounty Coins are central to the bonus system and normally contain cash values between 1x and 5x the bet.

Special versions can instead carry fixed prizes:

Landing 4 or more Bounty Coins triggers the Hold’n Grow feature, while smaller groups of 1-3 are collected by the GO Collect Meter.

GO Collect

When fewer than four Bounty Coins appear, they aren’t necessarily wasted. Instead, they are collected by the GO Collect Meter, which has a chance to trigger Hold’n Grow without requiring the normal four-Coin trigger.

When GO Collect activates the bonus, the triggering Coins carry across and 1-3 additional random Bounty Coins can be awarded at the beginning of the feature.

Hold’n Grow

Landing at least four Bounty Coins normally sends the game into Hold’n Grow with three respins. Bounty Coins remain locked while new Coins reset the respin counter. The unusual part is the expanding playing area. The bonus can begin on the regular 5×3 grid, but additional rows become available as more Bounty Coins are collected.

Depending on the number of Coins present, the playing area can eventually expand as far as 5×8, giving the feature considerably more room to accumulate prizes.

It’s a simple Hold and Win concept mechanically, but progressively opening additional rows gives players a visible target beyond simply filling empty positions.

Hold’n Spin

A Bonus Bounty Coin can appear during Hold’n Grow and trigger another feature inside the feature. Hold’n Spin moves play onto a separate 3×3 grid with three respins. New symbols reset the counter in familiar Hold and Win fashion.

Once Hold’n Spin finishes, play returns to the original Hold’n Grow round. The combined value accumulated during the mini-game is then stored inside the Bonus Bounty Coin.

This bonus-within-a-bonus structure is arguably Stompin’ Gold’s most distinctive mechanic.
