Remember Gulag Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Remember Gulag by Nolimit City explores Soviet history with up to 614,656 ways to win, xWays mechanics, and a max win of 30,000x! Find out all about this controversial game right here in our review.

Nolimit City’s known for not being afraid of being controversial – and Remember Gulag could be one of their most controversial games to date.

The term “gulag” refers to a system of forced labor camps established during Joseph Stalin’s rule in the Soviet Union. Gulags were renowned for their brutal conditions, where millions of prisoners, including political prisoners and ordinary citizens, were subjected to hard labor and widespread abuse.

As a result, it’s pretty easy to see why this release from Nolimit City caused some controversy in the online gambling world – but, as crazy as it sounds, the game developer did a surprisingly good job in developing this game, and, as much as we may hate to admit it – it’s actually pretty fun to play!

Remember Gulag slot machine is set on a six-reel grid, and the base game begins with 720 ways-to-win. However, the number of ways-to-win can actually increase – to as many as 614,656! As you’d expect from a game of this theme, the graphics are brutal, evil – and based around Stalin himself – and you can play from as little as 20p per spin.

In terms of the game’s volatility and RTP; Remember Gulag has a slightly above-average RTP that comes in at 96.08%. It’s an insanely high variance game – but this is compensated by the fact that you can win as much as 30,000x your stake while playing!

Find out how in this Remember Gulag slot review – which we’ll kick off by looking at the bonuses and features.

Game Features

The base game kicks off with the xWays and xNudge Wild features. These mystery symbols can reveal 2 to 3 instances of regular symbols on reels 1-2, potentially expanding your ways to win faster than a Soviet show trial!

Now, you’ll then find the xNudge Wilds on reels 3-4 – and when they land, they always nudge up or down to cover the entire reel. Plus, as they do, they increase the multiplier with each step.

There’s also xSplit Wilds – and these can land on reels five and six during the base game. When they do, they split all symbols to the left of them; if a scatter symbol gets split and doesn’t trigger the free spins bonus round, it also transforms into a full stack of wilds.

Now, talking of free spins – this is, without a doubt, where most of the game’s win potential lies. Landing three scatter symbols triggers the Gulag Spins, four awards the Gulag Spins: All Aboard, and five awards the Gulag Spins: Double Vodka.

Each free spins bonus round comes with its own set of multipliers for the premium symbols – and a special reel above the reels can randomly boost these values on any spin.
