Octoberfest Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Octoberfest – not to be confused with No Limit City’s Oktoberfest – is a hugely-popular video slot from Booming Games that is centred around – yep, you guessed it: Oktoberfest – the beer-drinking festival in Germany that attracts tens of thousands of beer-enthusiasts from around the world, every single year.

This 5-reel, 20-pay-line video slot offers a pretty odd gaming experience – and you’ll see that delivered through this ‘flat design’. The reels and symbols look very different from what we usually see from Booming Games. While that’s not to say that it’s terrible, it’s different from what we expect from this relatively unknown software provider.

The game itself offers play between €0.20 and €200 per spin, meaning there’s plenty of staking choice for both serious punters and newbies… and it’s one of Booming Game’s few games to allow still you to change the number of lines you play – so you can, hypothetically, choose to play the game with one line, or the full twenty; the choice is yours!

Game Features

The symbols that make up the reels are a mixture of low, and higher-paying symbols, and the low-paying ones are, predictably, traditional playing card symbols, including Ten, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace. The higher-paying ones are all game-specific symbols and include a beer jug, a woman, a German hat, and more.

There’s also a scatter symbol and a wild symbol, the latter of which substitutes for all symbols, bar the scatter symbols. Now, if you manage to land three or more scatter symbols in view, you’ll be awarded 10 free spins, with one of two features;

The first is called the Brewer, which is just regular free spins. Nothing special here but expect to see enhanced wins and more regular wins.

What you want is the Cake Free Spins, and these are triggered by landing two of the scatter symbols anywhere in sight, plus the cake on the 5th reel. Do so, and you’ll still be awarded the 10 free spins as mentioned a moment ago, but you’ll also be awarded the double pay-line feature, which means that, for the duration of the free spins, you get paid both right-to-left, and left-to-right – i.e. win-both-ways!

Unfortunately, there’s no re-trigger available, but expect to see an average win of at least 50X from the free spins bonus!

Octoberfest Slot is fully mobile optimised, ensuring you can enjoy the action no matter where you are or what device you’re currently playing from!
