Now, Mining Rush boasts a huge maximum win potential of 10,000x—and while it’s a very volatile game, there’s a LOT going on, so it’s well-worth playing if you get the chance!

In this Mining Rush slot review, we’re going to show you everything you need to know about the slot, from looking at the game’s bonuses and features to summarizing the main pros and cons. To finish off, we’ll answer a few FAQs, too!

Game Features

The heart of Mining Rush lies in its bonus features, all designed quite heavily around the unique cluster pays mechanic. Now, each time you form a winning cluster of symbols, those involved in the win are removed from the reels—making way for new symbols to drop and potentially form additional clusters.

There is no limit on the number of times this cascade mechanic can trigger, and while there are no multipliers in play, it’s pretty decent—and works well!

Now, the Nugget Mechanic is perhaps Mining Rush’s most interesting—and lucrative feature. You see when one or two scatter symbols land alongside a winning cluster, they transform into Nuggets.

Nuggets have levels—Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Diamond—each offering increasingly lucrative cash payouts. Every tumble during the spin adds points to the Nuggets, potentially upgrading them to the next level and unlocking even higher rewards.

The top-tier Diamond Nuggets can pay out between 200x and 1,000x your bet, and while—naturally—it’s pretty rare to actually see these nuggets landing, if and when they do, they can be worth a significant amount of cash!

Landing 3 or more scatter symbols triggers the free spins feature, awarding up to 20 free spins depending on the number of scatters.

During the free spins round, all triggering scatter symbols turn into Nuggets—and these then remain locked on the reels throughout the bonus! Plus, any additional scatters landing during free spins also transform into Nuggets and award +2 extra spins, extending the round with no limit on the number of possible re-triggers!

Finally, in keeping with what we see from almost every Pragmatic Play slot, Mining Rush also contains a bonus buy mechanic. This allows you to pay a fixed cost of 100x your base game stake – and, in return, you’ll be able to buy instant entry into the main free spins bonus round!
