Mermaid's Pearls Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Mermaid’s Pearls is a video slot that was produced and released in June 2019 by RTG software.

So, in many ways, it’s no surprise the game is all about the Mermaids who live in the sea. Fitting a slot to the time of year or a season is always a great way to go, as punters will immediately be on board.

The game comes with a 5×5 reels and rows set up, but it’s the number of ways to win which are interesting. There are 3,125 in total, giving punters an excellent opportunity to find winning combinations on the reels to walk away in profit. Thousands of pay-lines and winning potential are just the start, though.

The theme of Mermaid’s Pearls revolves around, yes, you guessed it, mermaids. It is a familiar story or idea for a slot game developer in many respects. But, as always, it’s all about how everything is put together.

Visually, Mermaid’s Pearls slot machine impresses, as RTG moves away from a cartoon-like approach with their artwork to include images of real women dressed as mermaids, for example. The live backdrop of the game catches the eye for us, and it will do for many as schools of fish swim by in the bubbling water.

Game Features

Pearls must be involved in the game. And they are. They will show up on the reels randomly as the action progresses, and they collect and store in a meter at the side of the reels.

Players can grab up to twenty-five pearls in one go, with 15+ wins of up to 2,500x the bet. When a player has collected three hundred, the Shipwreck Bonus starts.

Six Pearls start the Treasure Pearl feature, with ten free spins and multipliers of up to 5x that apply to any wins on the screen. Finding combinations in the Treasure Pearl is more accessible as the reels will only contain pearls and blank spaces.
