Irish Crown Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Pragmatic Play invites you to chase the end of the rainbow in Irish Crown, a slot packed with leprechaun-themed charm! Plus, if you’re lucky, you could scoop up potential riches worth up to 5,000x your base game stake!

Now, while Irish-themed slots are nothing new, Irish Crown does a pretty good job, in our opinion, of combining traditional gameplay mechanics with just enough twists to keep things fresh and engaging.

Set against a lush, mountainous backdrop complete with a vibrant rainbow and the iconic green top hat-wearing leprechaun, the slot embodies all the clichés you’d expect from this genre but executes them with polished graphics and a cheerful soundtrack that will have you tapping your foot as you spin!

Irish Crown, in terms of layout, is played on a five-reel, three-row grid, and you’ll find 20 fixed pay-lines in play at all times. The minimum bet begins at just £0.20, and reaches all the way up to a whopping £240, too—so, there’s betting options for players on pretty much every budget!

An Ante Bet option also allows you to increase your stake by 25% in return for a higher chance of triggering the game’s main bonus round.

Game Features

In our opinion, the Irish Crown contains a decent array of bonuses and features. Firstly, you’ll find the mystery symbols, which can land in both the base game and the main bonus round. When these mystery symbols land in view, they transform into a random symbol—and all mystery symbols on screen turn into the same paying one!

You’ll also notice the Crown symbols. Collecting 3 to 9 Crown symbols awards prizes ranging from 1x to 40x your bet. Landing 10 or more Crowns triggers the Big Money bonus. Here, Crown symbols lock in place while the remaining reels respin.

New Crown symbols that land also stick, and respins continue until no new Crowns appear or the grid fills up entirely. Ultimately, the number of Crowns determines your prize, and you’re guaranteed a minimum of 50x—and can win as much as 5,000x if you’re really lucky!

Finally, the Irish Crown also contains a free spins bonus round, triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view. Doing so awards you with ten free spins, and during the feature, a Leprechaun symbol can appear on the rightmost reel, upgrading all instances of one card suit into Crown symbols for the duration of the feature.
