Gem Hunter Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

Gem Hunter is another masterpiece slot game released by WMS Gaming. It is a 5 reel slot with 20 pay-lines and it delivers just exactly what the title suggests.

The video slot is themed around a pair of adventurers who set out to find gems which they manage to amass in an impressive collection.

The symbols present on the reels include the logo of the game, the diamond, a male and a female hunter, a mining cart, emeralds, a pickaxe and a compass.

1. The Wild Symbol: The Gem Hunter Logo is the highest is responsible for the highest line win of up to 3,000 coins. For this jackpot win to be achieved, all the positions of the pay lines must be covered by the logo symbol. The same logo also doubles up as the wild symbol hence it will substitute every other symbol with the exception of the scatters in forming the winning combination on the reels.
2. Scatters and Free Games: The scatter symbol in the Gem Hunter on the hand is represented by the Diamond symbols. This is the symbol responsible for unlocking the bonus feature which will, in turn, activate the Hot Hot Penny Bonus feature. When two or more scatter symbols appear adjacent to each other on the active reels, you get another chance of triggering the bonus round or getting more scatters to further increase your chances of winning.
3. Gem Bag Bonus Game: Another feature which you need to watch out for during the free game is the Gem Bag Bonus feature. This feature will be triggered each and every time a cart symbol appears on the reels. With it, you get a chance to reveal a prize of between two and twenty times the value of your current line bet.

Though you won’t get very large wins with this feature, it will make a nice addition to the free spins you already bagged.
