Animal Arcade is one of the Arrow’s Edge latest releases, and it uses a board game layout instead of a conventional slot design.

Arrow’s Edge have been around for several years, although it’s only recently that we’ve seen them pushing out content that the online gambling community actually wants.

The symbols include a Tiger, an Elephant, an Ape, a Panda, a Rhino, an Eagle, and a Snake; the game’s design is based around a cartoon-art-like format, and while it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, it actually works pretty well. There’s also a pretty fitting soundtrack that accompanies each spin – and it’s got a distinctive Asian feel to it.

Unfortunately, Animal Arcade is lacking a bit in the bonuses and features area; there are just two features to be found in the game, and neither are particularly exciting. Firstly, you have the free spin – note we said spin, not spins.

If the highlight lands on the special free spin symbol, you will receive your bet back in cash; you will then be awarded one free re-spin – and that’s all there is to it. No additional wilds are added to the screen, and there’s no multiplier.

The second bonus, however, does offer multiplier potential; it’s called “Double Win”, and it’s triggered if the highlight lands on the “Double Win” tile. You will then receive two free spins, and these both are played out at the same time. One of the highlighters runs clockwise, while the other runs anti-clockwise. This means you can, potentially, hit two wins – and a 2X multiplier is applied against any wins you do manage to form.
