123 Boom! Slot Review – Demo, RTP & Features

As implied by its title, 123 Boom! is a slot that can deliver quite an explosive experience. It is super unusual, as most slots by 4ThePlayer are, offering a 5×4 grid where reels spin horizontally or vertically, depending on how you flip your phone, thanks to its Top Spin or Slide Spin mode.

The Slot Slider mechanics allows for the reels to spin right to left or top to bottom and pay left to right or bottom to top, respectively.

You are taken into the high seas, where through the transparent reels, you can see the blue waters, and on their sides, you can see two ships. The slot offers the pirate theme, obviously, where cannons and cannonballs are everything. The Cannonball is the Wild, but the Cannon is the Scatter.

Other pay symbols include pistols, cutlasses, coins, skull and crossbones, maps, treasure chests, telescopes and ship wheels, as well as a lady and male pirate characters, giving you 5x to 20x the stake for a 5-of-a-kind combo.

Math-wise, the game offers 1,024 ways to win. It can be played for bets that start at €0.10 and go up to €50, for an RTP of 96.40%. Moreover, the game offers a hit rate of 1 in 3.5 spins, so getting to the 14,727x the stake max win will be easier than you’d think, especially since the bonus frequency is 1 in 203 spins! And it’s in the bonus round where the most can be won!

Game Features

The Wild, other than being a substitute, plays another incredible role in the slot. In a non-winning spin, if no Wilds are in view, a Wild can slide in and blow symbols up on its way until a win is achieved or until it reaches the end of the reel.

On that note, thanks to the Explosive Wins reaction, winning combos explode and are removed from the grid, while new ones are added, providing for consecutive wins in a single spin.

Now, you trigger the bonus round when 3 or more Scatters land. The number of Scatters that landed is collected and the bonus round starts. The first Scatter fires a Wild onto the grid and the Sliding Cannonball Wild feature is at play. The next Scatter does the same, and the next, until all Scatters that triggered the bonus are used.

Up to 107 Explosive Wins on a single spin are possible here! Add to that the fact that a Win Multiplier is applied to the bonus round, which starts at 2x and with every Explosive Win, it increases by 1+. And since Scatters continue landing during the bonus, they, too, get collected and help extend the duration of the feature, and of course, the big wins!
