Detective Chronicles
Detective Chronicles Rated 5/5 based on 1 votes

Detective Chronicles… think Sherlock Holmes, Hardy-Boys-inspired slot fun…

Do so, and you’ll already have nailed down a pretty solid idea of what the slot entails - and in this review, you’re going to learn more about the game from Spielo, and what it has to offer.

Now, one of Spielo’s only slots to incorporate a progressive jackpot into the mix, Detective Chronicles is a 5-reel, 25-payline video slot that takes the word “detective” to new levels - and as you’ll see from the game features section below, there’s a LOT going on, to wetten your taste buds!

Playable from as little as 1p per spin, Detective Chronicles is unique, as it’s one of the game developers only slots that allows you to fully-adjust the number of lines you play, meaning you can choose to play just one, or all 25 - and any number of lines in between!

Symbols are all related to the theme of the slot, and include a cobbled street graphic, a horse and carriage, a spyglass, and other detective-related attire.

There’s somewhat of a Jack the Ripper ambience going on, which makes for very interesting gameplay, indeed!

Land 3, 4, or 5 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view and you’ll trigger the free-spins bonus round, which awards you with 12 free-spins.

During the free-spins, a random multiplier is awarded on each spin, ranging between 1X and 10X - and this means you can, technically, hit BIG wins, if you’re lucky enough to match 5-of-a-kind wins, with a 10X multiplier.

There’s no re-trigger available - something which is a little odd, given that the vast-majority of Spielo’s slots do offer re-trigger facilities - but the 12 spins you’ve given initially is generally more than enough to help you achieve big wins, so it’s not the end of the world!

Pros: Chronicles is fun-to-play, exciting, and packed with great win-potential in the free-spins bonus round.

Cons: The lack of any other type of bonus round will be a turn off for some players.
