Rise of the Pharoahs slot - Free Play - Game Review
Rise of the Pharaohs is the subject of today’s review, and this video slot from Section 8 Studios takes place deep within the Egyptian dessert - as you could probably tell from the name of the slot.
Built using a 5 reel, 15 pay-line format, Rise of the Pharaohs may not look anything too special (it’s a bit of a let down in terms of graphics), but it’s worth noting that the game developer behind the slot have made sure that the gameplay is excellent - and you’ll even find yourself able to enjoy the action from your mobile devices, thanks to the fact that the game isn’t built using Flash; it’s built on HTML5 technology, instead.
In the game itself, you’ll see a number of symbols, including playing card values, including 10, jack, queen, king, and ace - as the low-value symbols - and the game specific symbols are the higher-paying ones, including a variety of Egyptian gods, along with Anubis and Horus.
The first bonus is the free-spins round, and this is triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view.
Once you manage to land the required scatter symbols, you’ll receive a random number of free-spins - it appears that the range you can win, is between 8, and 24.
During the bonus, sticky wilds are added at random to the reels, and it’s - theoretically - possible to land a full screen of wilds, which would go on to pay gigantic wins!
There’s also a second bonus round, called the Pharaohs Tomb Bonus, and this is triggered by landing 3 or more of the Cleopatra scatter symbols anywhere in view.
Once you manage to do so, you’ll enter a simple pick ‘n click bonus, where you can win cash prizes and various awards - and once you finish using your picks, you just return to the main base-game, to continue the fun!
Pros: Rise of the Pharaohs is sleekly-built, exciting to play, and there’s some pretty generous win-potential to be found within the game, too.
Cons: If you’re looking for fast action, this slot may not be for you - the reels take quite a while to come to a stop.
