Gods of Gold slot - Free Play - Game Review

Gods of Gold
Gods of Gold Rated 0/5 based on 0 votes

Gods of Gold is a popular video slot from a software provider called Section 8 Studios, and while that name may not instantly ring a bell, you’ll probably know them better by their hold name - Random Logic.

If you’re unfamiliar with Random Logic, they’re essentially 888’s in-house game development studios - and this means you’ll only find their titles at sites that 888 own, or have a partnership agreement with.

Anyway, back to Gods of Gold; the slot is themed all around Ancient Greek mythology, of course, and you'll find yourself surrounded by some of the most powerful gods of the time, including Zeus, Ares, and Aphrodite.

Symbols on the reels are varied, and you’ll first see the low-value ones made up from playing card values, and the higher-paying ones include game specific symbols, which are mainly the gods.

The wild symbol takes the form of a temple, and this substitutes for ALL other symbols in the game, bar the scatter symbols… and on the note of scatter symbols, you’ll find this presented by the BONUS symbol.

The first bonus that can appear at any time is the Lightning Wild bonus, and this sees - on any base-game spin - anywhere from two, to four wild symbols added across the screen.

Any wins made using these bonus symbols are then paid out, and the next spin then begins.

Now, there’s also a Wheel of Fortune bonus, and this is triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view.

Once triggered, you get the chance to spin the gigantic wheel, which can award a number of prizes and multipliers.

You get to keep spinning the giant wheel until it lands on the ‘End’ segment, and it’s not uncommon to see wins of 200X and upwards from this feature - it’s very lucrative most of the time, and very rarely disappoints.

Pros: Gods of Gold takes a very overdone theme, and gives it a fresh look - it’s great fun, indeed!

Cons: The game isn’t mobile-optimized, so you can’t unfortunately play from your mobile phone or tablet.
