Lucky 6 Slot Game Review
Lucky 6 is one of the less-well-known games from RTG - Real Time Gaming, if you’re unfamiliar with them - and while the game has yet to achieve the same levels of notoriety and popularity as some of the game developer’s other titles, it’s a slot that’s well-worth checking out. You can find out why - and what you can expect, from playing - from this review!
First things first, let’s look at what Lucky 6 is themed around. The slot is built around an Irish theme - and this is made evident from the cheery little Leprechaun that you’ll see on the side of the reels.
Like most of RTG’s slots, Lucky 6 has a lot going on - and we’ll cover the details surrounding the various bonuses and features in the following ‘Game Features’ section. For now, let’s take a look at the symbols on the reels.
Interestingly, Real Time Gaming have decided to use a combination of both 2D and 3D graphics - perhaps to make the slot a little more interesting on the eye - and while the backdrop is designed using a 3D look and feel, the actual symbols are presented in 2D.
You’ll see playing card values making up the low-value symbols, while game specific symbols are the higher-paying ones.
The main bonus round within Lucky 6 is the free-spins bonus round, and this is triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view. Once you manage to do so you’ll be awarded a number of free-spins.
The more scatter symbols you land, the more free-spins you’ll be awarded - and it’s possible to win up to 100 free-spins, giving you some pretty decent potential for big hits!
Now, during the free-spins, it’s also possible to re-trigger additional free-spins, and this is done by landing yet another 3, 4, or 5 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view.
There’s no maximum limit on the number of times you can re-trigger free-spins, so there can be some pretty juicy runs available, if you manage to get on a lucky streak!
Pros: Lucky 6 is very unlike most of the Irish-themed slots we’re used to seeing. Most Irish-themed games tend to have a pretty depressing, and repetitive soundtrack - and that’s not the case with Lucky 6!
Cons: The game’s quite volatile - something that we’re used to seeing in a lot of RTG’s slots - so just bear this in mind before you spend too much time expecting to see regular wins.
