Lucha Libre 2 Slot Game Review
Lucha Libre 2 is a video slot from Real Time Gaming, and as you may have already been able to tell from the name, the slot is based all around the theme of Mexican Wrestling.
While the Mexican Wrestling theme may be a little strange to those not residing in Mexico, it’s a theme we’ve seen commonly incorporated into online video slots - and in this review, we’re going to be taking a look at Lucha Libre 2, and what it has to offer.
One of the things players really like about Lucha Libre 2, is the fact that you can customise the number of lines played on the slot.
While - generally speaking - it’s always advised to play the maximum number of lines, you can play as few as 1 - giving you tremendous choice over the game’s math model, and volatility.
Now, in terms of the game’s layout itself, Lucha Libre 2 is set on a 5 X 3 layout - and you’ll see a number of symbols on the reels, including wild wrestlers, rings, and scatter symbols. The scatter symbols are - of course - the key to triggering the main bonus round, details of which we’ll cover below.
If you manage to land three of the scatter symbols (the Wrestling Rings), you’ll trigger the Time To Rumble Feature, and this is essentially a "pick me bonus", where you get to choose the special move you want to use in order to defeat your opponent.
If you choose correctly, you’ll be rewarded with 14 free-spins, and during the free-spins round, all your winnings aer multiplied by 2X, essentially doubling any wins you manage to make.
(It’s also worth noting that the opponent you manage to knock out in the Time To Rumble Feature awards a different number of free-spins - 14 is the maximum, so just bear this in mind.)
Pros: Lucha Libre 2 is fast-paced, action-packed, and fun-to-play. There’s a great deal of variety within the bonus round, thanks to the fact that there’s 3 different opponents for you to choose from - and the 2X multiplier which is present during the bonus helps to ensure that there’s a much greater chance of hitting big wins!
Cons: Lucha Libre 2 is quite low in volatility. What this means, is that you can expect a fair number of small-to-medium sized wins, but not a huge number of big wins. That being said, the big wins do come - and when they do, they can end up paying quite handsomely, so it’s not all bad news!
