Viking Runecraft slot - Free Play - Game Review

Viking Runecraft
Viking Runecraft Rated 5/5 based on 1 votes

If there’s one thing Play 'n Go have become well-known for, it’s their ability to create games that are highly-enjoyable, both in terms of the actual gameplay they offer, and the fact that many of their games carry tremendous win-potential, and Viking Runecraft is a perfect example of where they’ve managed to get things “just right”.

Viking Runecraft slot game, as the name hints towards, is themed all around Vikings, and you’ll be able to enjoy some of the most exciting and enjoyable gameplay action you’ll have ever experienced.

It’s very similar in terms of the gameplay to Cloud Quest, if you’ve ever played that game – another popular slot from Play 'n Go – and while the features and bonuses differ quite a lot, the core mechanics of the game are near-enough identical.

Now, the game itself is played on a 7X7 grid, and you’ll see a number of symbols present on the reels, including a selection of Viking attire – Hammers, Helmets, Axes, and Pendants – and there’s also five runes, of varying colours.

The runes are the lower-paying symbols, with the first ones are the game’s highest-paying symbols.

There’s also a couple of wild symbols, with the main one being yellow, and this is quite a key symbol, as it helps trigger the bonus-round.

Now, there’s a lot going on in terms of the bonuses and features inside Viking Runecraft, and you’ll be able to trigger one of the random features on any spin. The first one is called God of Thunder, and this sees anywhere from 5 to 9 symbols turn into complete wild symbols.

The second feature is the God of Wisdom bonus, and this sees two vertically connected pairs of wilds appear on the reels. The third bonus is the Goddess of Beauty bonus, and this places a cluster of wilds on the screen in various grids; this continues until a win is made.

The fourth and final bonus is the God of Guarding which sees one wild symbol placed on each row, totalling 7.

Now, if you manage to get all of the bonuses in succession, you’ll trigger the Charge of Destruction bonus, which once again awards all four of the bonuses, before multiplying your win by up to 15X. It’s possible to achieve absolutely massive wins here, and even if you were to get a win of £100, it could be multiplied by the 15X multiplier, resulting in a whopping £1,500 win!

While Viking Runecraft won’t be every players’ cup of tea, the gameplay is fun, fast-paced, and action-packed, and there’s rarely more than a few spin without some type of action. Well-worth checking out!

Pros: The regular features make for interesting gameplay at all times, and you’ll never find yourself waiting around for stuff to happen.

Cons: The volatile nature of the slot can be a little high for some players, so just bear this in mind.
