Super Flip slot - Free Play - Game Review

Super Flip
Super Flip Rated 3.5/5 based on 2 votes

Super Flip is a popular game from Play 'n Go, that’s one of their oldest and most set-in-stone titles, and while the game has undergone some changes over the past five years or so, it remains one of their “original classics”, taking the attention of players all over the world.

Most interestingly is the fact that the game is so simple; sure, there’s a free-spins bonus-round (details of which we’ll cover a little later on within this review), but interestingly, you won’t need to look far to see the action.

First, before we look at the bonuses and features, let’s take a look at the main attraction of the slot; the design.

Super Flip is presented in a way that’s both intriguing and enchanting, and you won’t see any traditional playing card symbols, including Ten, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace depicting the lower-paying symbols; instead, Play 'n Go have opted to use the playing-card suits, including Hearts, Clubs, Spades, and Diamonds, and these make up the low-paying symbols.

The higher-paying symbols include a Horseshoe, a Strawberry, and a Four-Leaf-Clover, and the highest-paying is the Silver Diamond, which pays huge for landing even 3-of-a-kind! Of course, if you’re lucky enough to land a 4-of-a-kind or 5-of-a-kind combination of the Diamond, you’re talking BIG money.

There’s a couple of features to be aware of inside Super Flip, and the first is the re-spin feature.

Any time you manage to land identical symbols on the first two reels – that don’t contribute towards a win – you’ll find yourself awarded a re-spin, where the third reel only re-spins. The fourth and firth reels are locked into place. Any winning combinations that result from the re-spin are paid respectively, and it’s possible to land full screens of all symbols here.

Now, the main attraction of the slot is the free-spins bonus-round, and this is triggered by landing three, four, or five of the scatter symbols anywhere in view. (The scatter symbols take the form of the game’s logo; Super Flip.)

You’ll be awarded 15 spins upon triggering the free-spins round, and during the free-spins round, the reels are “flipped” around, with the higher-paying symbols taking priority ion the first three reels. This, combined with the re-spin feature (which is present during the bonus), helps to ensure that you can make large wins, and accumulate BIG hits!

Now, it’s also possible to re-trigger the free-spins bonus, and this is done by landing yet another three, four, or five of the scatter symbols anywhere in view. Do so, and you’ll be awarded yet another 15 free-spins, and with up to 60 spins on offer to be won, there’s a ton of win-potential to be found inside Super Flip!

Pros: The bonus-round tends to drop quite regularly, so you don’t usually have to wait around too long for it to drop in.

Cons: The only real downside of the game is that the re-spins can get frustrating, as they don’t always hit; still, they are an extra “perk” of playing, so it’s not all bad news!
