Planet Fortune slot - Free Play - Game Review

Planet Fortune
Planet Fortune Rated 5/5 based on 1 votes

Planet Fortune is one of the latest games to be released from Play 'n Go, and while the game has only been out for just over a month, it’s already become one of their most popular releases to date, thanks to the huge win potential that can be found in both the base-game, and the free-spins bonus.

In this review, we’re going to take a look at the slot, so that you have an idea of what to expect should you decide to play – and you’ll learn all about ht4e mechanics behind the slot.

Now, if you’re not familiar with the move called Forbidden Planet; well, it was first released in 1956, and it tells the story of a science-fiction novel that sees a group of intergalactic explorers travel to a foreign universe.

The slot Planet Fortune is based loosely around the film, and you’ll see that the game is designed using a 5-reel, 4-row, and 40-pay-line (fixed in place) structure, making it fairly rare, in terms of a Play 'n Go slot.

The game uses a variety of symbols on the reels, including traditional playing card symbols, including Ten, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace – which make up the lower-paying symbols – and the higher-paying symbols include a Blue Crystal, a Pink Crystal, a Male Character, and a Female Character.

The Robot is the game’s wild symbol, and he substitutes for ALL other symbols within the game, aside from the scatter symbol, which we’ll cover in the following section.

The main feature is a free-spins bonus-round which we’ll get too in just a moment; first, let’s take a look at the Magnetic Mayhem bonus.

All symbols aside from the wild – the Robot – can appear stacked on all reels, up to 4 symbols high; and if this happens, AND two adjacent reels have matching stacks on them, these symbols can then transform into gigantic 2X2 or 3X3 symbols, offering of course – much bigger win-potential.

The main bonus-round is the free-spins round as mentioned, and this is triggered by landing three, four, or five of the scatter symbols anywhere in view. When you do so, you’ll receive 10 free-spins, and during the free-spins, any wilds than land on the screen then shift one position to the left, per spin.

This means you can continue gaming for quite a long time as the free-spins are near-enough unlimited, and while you’ll need a fair-few wilds in order to hit the monster win-potential the slot offers, it’s a great bonus – and thankfully, it doesn’t take too long to trigger, either!

Overall, while it’s a film that not many players will be family with, Planet Fortune is a fantastic game, and Play 'n Go have done a stellar job in ensuring that the game is both enjoyable to play, and fun.

Pros: A great bonus-round – that doesn’t trigger to infrequently – helps to ensure that you’ll be able to enjoy a great playing experience, regardless of your stake or level of experience with Play 'n Go games.

Cons: Hard to find fault with Planet Fortune – Play 'n Go have done an amazing job in creating a fun, exciting, and realistic-game for players to enjoy!
